Trump Signs Order Protecting Women From Gender Ideology

Trump Signs 118 Executive Orders Day 1 [INFO]

One of President Donald Trump’s 118 executive actions on his first day in office was designed to protect women from “gender ideology extremism” — a long-awaited order that defends women from “socially coercive” attempts to force them to give up their protected spaces.

On January 20, 2025, Trump signed a total of 118 executive orders, actions, and memoranda. One of the orders was titled: “DEFENDING WOMEN FROM GENDER IDEOLOGY EXTREMISM AND RESTORING BIOLOGICAL TRUTH TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.”

Trump’s executive order clearly outlines the fact that “basing federal policy on truth is critical” for the health of the country, as women’s rights and the United States as a whole have been severely impacted by the radical left’s refusal to acknowledge the reality of biological truth.

“Across the country, ideologues who deny the biological reality of sex have increasingly used legal and other socially coercive means to permit men to self-identify as women and gain access to intimate single-sex spaces and activities designed for women, from women’s domestic abuse shelters to women’s workplace showers,” the executive order states, adding that all of these actions were “wrong” and only served to “fundamentally attack women by depriving them of their dignity, safety, and well-being.”

“The erasure of sex in language and policy has a corrosive impact not just on women but on the validity of the entire American system,” the order continues. “Basing Federal policy on truth is critical to scientific inquiry, public safety, morale, and trust in government itself.”

The executive order also condemns the radical left for replacing the “immutable biological reality of sex with an internal, fluid, and subjective sense of self unmoored from biological facts.”

“Accordingly, my Administration will defend women’s rights and protect freedom of conscience by using clear and accurate language and policies that recognize women are biologically female, and men are biologically male,” the order states, emphasizing that the U.S. will now recognize the truth: that there are only “two sexes, male and female.”

“These sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality. Under my direction, the Executive Branch will enforce all sex-protective laws to promote this reality,” the order continues.

Trump’s executive order also tasks the incoming Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) — Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is still undergoing confirmation hearings in the Senate — with providing “clear public guidance” on the definitions included in the order. It also requires all agencies to eliminate policies, statements, and other guidance that promote gender ideology.

The president also emphasized in the order that U.S. taxpayer dollars “shall not be used to promote gender ideology.”

The executive order comes after Trump made it clear in his inauguration speech that he will be protecting biological reality from the push for radical gender ideology, stating: “As of today, it will henceforth be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male and female.”
