Trump Ends CBP One App, Cancels Appointments

Trump Shuts it Down Immediately

Immediately after taking office, President Donald Trump shut down the illegal U.S Customs and Border Patrol’s CBP One app and canceled all existing appointments for illegal aliens to enter the country.

Within moments of taking office, Trump ended the CBP One app, which streamlined the process for more than one million illegal aliens to enter the country under the Biden-Harris administration. This application allowed illegal aliens to remotely schedule asylum hearings and be released into the country without proper vetting.

According to an update from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), “the functionalities of CBP One that previously allowed undocumented aliens to submit advance information and schedule appointments at eight southwest border points of entry is no longer available.”

The update also clarified that all preexisting appointments had been canceled.

Footage of potential illegal aliens waiting in Ciudad Juárez for their 1 p.m. CBP One parole appointments showed them sobbing as they “learned 20 minutes ago that the app has shut down & those appointments are no longer valid,” according to a video shared on social media by Washington Post reporter Arelis R. Hernández.

According to documents from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), President Joe Biden allowed more than a quarter million “inadmissible aliens” to enter the country through the CBP One app — despite House Republicans repeatedly warning that Mexican cartels were exploiting the system.

This is just the first in a long line of Trump’s planned executive actions to deal with Biden’s horrific border crisis, as he also plans to focus on building the wall, declaring a national emergency on the border crisis, conducting mass deportations, and ending birthright citizenship.

According to The Daily Wire, Trump will also soon be “allowing the Department of Defense to send members of the National Guard and Armed Forces to secure the border and build physical barriers,” suspending “refugee resettlement,” designating “cartels as foreign terrorist organizations,” and reinstating “the Remain in Mexico policy, which orders migrants to remain in the country while asylum claims are processed, also telling reporters that the president will work to end the current asylum system altogether.”
