Trump Just Sent Them ALL Cease-and-Desist

Various state and local level Republican parties have been using President Trump’s name and even his likeness is their massive post-election fund raising pushes….without permission. They should have realized this was a bad idea, given how closely guarded the Trump organization guards its’ most valuable commodity: the name ‘Trump’. Attorneys for the President have sent cease-and-desist letters asking that three GOP organizations immediately terminate use of his name in their fundraising materials.

According to Politico, the letter from Trump’s attorneys ordered the RNC to, “immediately cease and desist the unauthorized use of President Donald J. Trump’s name, image, and/or likeness in all fundraising, persuasion, and/or issue speech.”

However, according to unnamed sources at Politico,

“Some senior Republicans say they believed that last week’s cease-and-desist demand was driven by the advisers surrounding Trump, not the former president himself. And most have scoffed at the request, asserting that they are allowed to use Trump’s name in fundraising appeals given that he is a public figure.”

Why? Because Trump Is Competing for Fundraising, That’s’ Why.

President Trump has made his intentions for the future of the GOP very, very clear: he’s cleaning house, and the only one who will be allowed to use his name to build up a war-chest will be him, so everyone else must cease and desist. Mark Megahan reported for Patriot United News that Trump has since urged supporters to address donations to his Save America PAC and not to the Republican National Convention.

“There’s only one way to contribute to our efforts to elect America first Republican conservatives and in turn, make America great again and that’s through Save America PAC and DonaldJTrump.com,” Trump advised. That’s only one of his bold moves.

During his speech at CPAC, President Trump called out his ideological foes in the GOP by name, and may are well entrenched within the establishment of the old-guard. It was a veritable RINO who’s who of whom to vote out. As Anastasia Boushee reported, Trump told CPAC,

“The Democrats don’t have grandstanders like Mitt Romney, little Ben Sasse, Richard Burr, Bill Cassidy, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Pat Toomey, and in the House, Tom Rice [of] South Carolina, Adam Kinzinger, Dan Newhouse, Anthony Gonzalez. That’s another beauty. Fred Upton, Jaime Herrera Beutler, Peter Meyer, John Katko, David Valadao.

And of course the warmonger, a person that loves seeing our troops fighting, Liz Cheney. How about that? The good news is in her state, she’s been censured, and in her state, her poll numbers have dropped faster than any human being I’ve ever seen. So hopefully they’ll get rid of her with the next election.”

“Get rid of them all,” Trump declared.
