Manhattan’s District Attorney is scrambling, as his plan to railroad Donald Trump got side-tracked by the light of transparency. The day was supposed to be the big day when his hand-picked, coached and coddled grand jury was to vote on hush money charges. In a surprise move, Alvin Bragg gave everyone the day off. He’s not saying why.
No charges for Trump
Everyone in the liberal network media is warning not to read too much into this latest Trump saga development. It doesn’t mean that there won’t be any charges at all, they hope. NBC relates that the Manhattan district attorney told the grand jury “to stay home Wednesday rather than reconvene as planned.” They’re still on “standby” for Thursday.
The “reason for this delay is unclear” to NBC. Conservatives know it’s because the obvious political overreach got a slap on the wrist. You can bet there were some heavy duty phone calls dragging down data-streams last night.
Republicans are rallying hard behind their “once and future president” while Democrats are wondering why they can’t break out the Champaign yet. “It’s been five days since former President Donald Trump announced to the world he expected to be arrested and urged his supporters to “PROTEST, PROTEST, PROTEST” in New York City, where throngs of fully uniformed NYPD, Secret Service and other officers secured the Manhattan Criminal Court perimeter ahead of a possible grand jury indictment.”

The barricades are still there. Camera crews outnumber deplorable MAGA types and the FBI planted informants are standing out like a sore thumb.
Since nothing is actually happening, NBC informs that “protests have been intermittent and largely muted thus far. A few members of the New York Young Republican’s Club donned MAGA hats and rallied outside Manhattan Criminal Court earlier this week, and Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan has been the scene of a handful of impromptu demonstrations.” They’re still hoping for riots.
“It’s unclear if any potential organized actions could intensify if the grand jury does in fact opt to indict Trump, which would be the first indictment of a sitting or former U.S. president in history, but with the pall of the January 6 insurrection still looming large, the NYPD, and its law enforcement partners at all levels of government, are preparing accordingly.”
Ready for disorder
The NYPD is really hoping that they’ll have mass Trump inspired civil unrest to break up. They can’t wait to bring more insurrection and sedition charges. The operations division sent out a memo instructing “all uniformed service members to be mindful of protocol around public disorder and be prepared for mobilization at any time while on duty.”
Cops say, “intel teams are closely monitoring social media for protests, including intentional acts to slow down traffic or disrupt daily life across the city.” So far, they’re disappointed to report, “nothing of the sort has taken place in the city.” They have us mistaken for Democrats and Antifa style anarchists. Conservatives SUPPORT the rule of law, not violate it.
Even though nothing is happening and lawyers for Donald Trump assure everyone he can’t wait to turn himself in, “the police department, Secret Service, court officers and FBI continue to meet to discuss security.” One of the biggest problems is an assassination attempt. If that were to happen, it would look a whole lot like an engineered set-up.

“Two senior officials said the Secret Service has yet to do a security review of the 100 Centre Street courthouse where Trump could face a judge if he is indicted. Entrances, booking areas, hallways, courtroom, surrounding streets and more would be included in that kind of advanced security review, which would only be done if and/or when a potential indictment comes down.”
Trump has known for a week what they planned but so far, nobody has had the courtesy to contact him or his legal team to make arrangements ahead of time on how to handle his surrender. The former president has better intelligence than the FBI.
Democrats think that criminal charges would prevent him from running in 2024 but it doesn’t work that way. He could be convicted of a crime and still run. Some say, that makes Donald Trump even more qualified for the job than ever.
