Walz: Dems Shouldn’t ‘Demonize’ Successful People, Except Musk

Tim Walz Makes One of the Dumbest Announcements of the Year

Failed vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz put his hypocrisy on full display during a recent speech, warning Democrats against “demonizing” successful people, with one exception: Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX.

The Minnesota governor — who repeatedly criticized Vice President JD Vance’s humble beginnings during the 2024 presidential campaign — made the shocking remarks during a recent speech at a town hall in Youngstown, Ohio. Apparently, to Walz, growing up poor but becoming successful like Vance and growing up wealthy but running your own companies successfully like Musk are equally bad, but at the same time “demonizing” successful people is also bad.

“I think Democrats, supporting families, supporting the working class, supporting unions — but I think we have to separate and have a message here: It’s okay in America to be successful, we should celebrate that when people are successful,” Walz stated. “My beef is — what my beef is, once you get successful, don’t be a greedy bastard and not pay your taxes, don’t do that.”

The remark about taxes is especially ironic considering the fact that Musk paid the largest individual income tax bill in history just a few years ago, yet Walz and the Democrats continue to insist that he’s a “greedy billionaire” who doesn’t pay taxes.

“Let those young men who see this — now, I would argue this: we’re creating a false narrative from them that everybody is super-rich and has Lamborghinis and life is easy, but that’s what we’re going to have to figure out in our society about social media and all those things,” Walz’s speech continued.

“But I don’t think that we should be the party that demonizes someone because they’re able to afford something or they’re able to work hard and got something,” he added. “What we should demonize is people like Elon Musk and those people that do that … that’s different. That’s different.”

Meanwhile, Walz advocating for “demonizing” Elon Musk comes as radical leftist domestic terrorists have been firebombing, shooting, and vandalizing Tesla dealerships, charging stations, and individual vehicles — meaning that his remarks could be seen by some as license to continue these attacks.
