A large group of migrants is dead after trying to travel to the border.
They were traveling along a path that Mayorkas has promoted in the past.
Instead of shutting it down, Mayorkas has quietly tried to improve it.

The media has kept this rather quiet, which I am sure does not surprise anyone.
The path is in Panama called the Darien Gap jungle trail.
Todd Bensman, an immigration analyst who has traveled widely through Central America, stated, “Mayorkas did away with tacit, hands-off approval [by the United States], and overtly forced this [safer migration] policy on the Panamanians.”
As he noted, Mayorkas has asked the Panamanian government to make the path safer…

So, while Mayorkas sits in front of Congress and claims they are shutting migration down, they are actually looking for ways to make it easier on illegals.
Bensman reported, “The agreement is short on specifics, but during the preliminary shuttle diplomacy in February, Panama suddenly established a new sea route by allowing smuggling vessels from Colombia, full of U.S.-bound immigrants, to land much further northwest up the Caribbean coast on Panamanian territory, which Panamanian coast guard vessels had previously blocked.
“Immigrants landing make their way to the community of Canaan Membrillo.
“Another route opened up on the Pacific side of Panama to the community of Jaque.”
Just more proof that this administration is looking to make illegal immigration legal rather than enforcing our border laws.
