Far-left “news” outlet Politico was nuked by social media users after publishing an article that was clearly “gaslighting” Americans.
On Tuesday, Politico published an article that was incredibly shocking — not because of the subject of the story, but because of the content. The article claimed that former President Donald Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), “tried to tie” Vice President Kamala Harris to the Biden-Harris administration’s policies during a Tuesday rally in Big Rapids, Michigan.

The author of the article, Politico reporter Mia McCarthy, hilariously wrote: “Speaking at a rally in Big Rapids, Michigan, former President Donald Trump’s running mate tried to tie Harris to the Biden administration’s policies.”
Of course, X users were quick to point out how unbelievably laughable this article was, including Vance himself.

The post was even issued a “Community Note” correction pointing out that “Harris is currently President Biden’s Vice President,” although the note was later removed for some unknown reason — likely due to an outsized influence on the Community Note by disingenuous Harris supporters.

Meanwhile, other X users flocked to the comment section to call out Politico’s blatant “gaslighting” — a term that is defined by the American Psychological Association (APA) as “to manipulate another person into doubting their perceptions, experiences, or understanding of events.”

Another user shared a clip of former Obama administration official Susan Rice confirming that Harris has been behind all of President Joe Biden’s policies.
He quoted her in the post, noting that she stated that Harris “has been an integral architect and executor of the policies of Biden-Harris administration,” and to suggest otherwise is “not only false, it’s frankly somewhat bizarre and offensive.”
