There’s writing on the wall, for those who can see it, that Democrats are planning to spring a leak. One that could be explosive enough to blow up in their faces and as toxic as that train disaster in Ohio. William Barr and others have been shoving clear and convincing evidence in the faces of Democrats daily. Yes, there is a currently open investigation into potential bribery charges for Joe Biden and his demon-spawn son, Hunter. Democrats continue to deny it. The Federalist thinks they figured out the reason why they intentionally ignore the truth.
A leak in progress
Democrats plan to leak what they think is a document which can save their bacon. That’s the only solidly logical reason for Jamie Raskin, Ro Khanna and other leading Democrats to continue telling the same lie, over and over, despite clear evidence they’re lying. The FBI had a well paid and highly reliable trained rat running around important Ukrainian circles. He happened to sit in on meetings and phone calls involving, among others, Mykola Zlochevsky.
The paid informant took detailed notes as to times and places along with the events of his meetings. When he reported in to his handlers at the bureau, they wrote up what he had to tell them on a standard FD-1023 form. When the House Oversight Committee tried to get their hands on it, after Senator Charles Grassley gave James Comer a peek at the copy he got from his whistleblower, the FBI denied it existed.
Once that piece of deceit was cleared out of the way, the FBI claimed it was an unreliable source. We now know that was a lie. Sources don’t get much better than this. Next, Democrats claimed the information was third hand hearsay dug up by Rudy Giuliani. Rudy had nothing to do with it and even if he did, the former mayor of New York City and at the time attorney for Donald Trump was infinitely more reliable than Christopher Steele. The FBI can’t use that excuse.

The information may be third hand but the source was in the conversation with Zlochevsky when he described all the dirty details of bribing Joe Biden with $10 million after hiring Hunter for millions more. Joe’s big cut got split in half with Hunter but it all stayed in the family. As usual. The leak part comes from Pittsburgh.
After all their other lame excuses went down in flames, that left the bureau with “sources and methods” to protect. Christopher Wray quickly ran a magic marker over what he thought was the worst of it and trotted a copy over to the committee. He was already past his subpoena deadline and facing contempt charges.
During the briefing, at least three and maybe four times, the agent informed Comer and Raskin that the investigation remained open. Comer went out and announced it to the world. Raskin said he missed hearing that. As far as he knew, he swore, “that then-Attorney General William Barr’s hand-picked prosecutor, Scott Brady, had closed the investigation into the CHS’s claims.” The leak will back that up, they think.
Already been debunked
The core of the issue is whether the material was solid enough to continue investigating. By saying the file was closed in Pittsburgh, the Democrats can trick the public into thinking it wasn’t solid at all. Former Attorney General William Barr has been making the rounds of TV studios all week calling that ridiculous and explaining the process in painstaking detail.
That didn’t stop Ro Khanna from continuing “to peddle Raskin’s lie” when he told “America Reports” that Brady “looked into all of this in detail in 2020 and found no evidence or conclusion of wrongdoing.” According to the Federalist, “House Democrats persisting in their charge that Brady closed the investigation into the CHS’s claims in August 2020, against Barr’s strong denials, suggests a plot is underway to leak a document that will seemingly support Raskin’s narrative.”
If they do it will be a trick and we all see it coming. Such a document would be deceptive, however, because as Barr explained, “the assessment that was being done in Pittsburgh was not the typical kind of assessment where you determine, ‘Now do we have to open a broader investigation?‘” Instead, “Brady’s assessment addressed solely whether the evidence should be passed on or not.” The crucial factor is that there was already an ongoing investigation of Hunter Biden covering the same ground.

Brady could close his file and all that would mean is that “he had concluded his review, reaching a determination on how the evidence should be handled, and no further investigation by him was required.” Barr and the committee conservatives know full well that “the information from the CHS was not disinformation and should be investigated further in Delaware.” On Monday, June 12, Charles Grassley dropped a major bombshell which should dent their leak plans a little.
Not only was the scope of Brady’s involvement spelled out in the press at the time, Senator Grassley caught the FBI getting cute with the committee. It seems that one of the things they ran a magic marker over, claiming it would otherwise reveal sources and methods, was an entry noting that the owner of Burisma has 17 audio tapes to back up his bribe story. Two of them are conversations with Joe Biden himself and the other 15 feature Hunter. After being given the rope, Wray went ahead and hung himself with it.
Right about now, half of America is wondering if Joe will survive his root canal procedures which suddenly took up the past two days. Hunter was already on Clinton watch because it looks like a judge in Arkansas is about to put him in jail for somewhere between six months and a year for contempt in his child support case. Conservatives are just waiting for the Democrats to leak that document so it can get shoved up their nether regions.
