In his first appearance in the White House press briefing room in the nearly four years he’s been in office, President Joe Biden once again sabotaged Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign, telling reporters that he and his VP — who has desperately tried to distance herself from the failed policies of the Biden-Harris administration — “sing from the same song sheet.”
While responding to a reporter’s question about several ongoing crises currently impacting the country and Harris’ role in addressing them — including Hurricane Helene, the port strike, and the Israel-Hamas war — Biden confirmed that Harris has been a “major player” in everything that the Biden-Harris administration has done since taking office in January 2021.
“Can you talk about how your vice president, who is running for the presidency, has worked on these crises and what role she has played over the past several days?” the reporter asked Biden.
The president responded with remarks that effectively sabotage Harris’ campaign — leading many to speculate that Biden may be taking revenge on the Democrat Party for forcing him out of the race in July.
“I’m in constant contact with her,” Biden replied. “We’re singing from the same song sheet. She helped pass all the laws that are being employed now. She was a major player in everything we’ve done, including passage of legislation we were told we could never pass. And her staff is interlocked with mine in terms of all the things we’re doing.”

Biden’s sudden appearance in front of the podium in the White House press briefing room on Friday surprised many people, as he has never addressed the media from that room in the nearly four years he’s been in office.
Conservatives have repeatedly tried to force Harris to tie herself to Biden in the months since she began her presidential campaign, especially since the White House has insisted over the past few years that the administration be called “the Biden-Harris administration,” not simply the “Biden administration.” Beyond Harris’ support for Biden’s policies, she has also been permanently tied to many of the White House’s failed policies through casting the tie-breaking vote in the Senate on many Biden-supported measures.

Thus, Biden’s comments only serve to back up many of conservatives’ claims about her connection to the administration’s failed policies.
