A young man from Chicago, 22-year-old James Massey, faces one federal criminal count of “using a facility of interstate commerce to incite a riot,” and an unofficial charge of felonious stupidity for posting his plans on social media. His Wisdom Joe Biden and the team at the Palace are strangely silent. After what they did to Donald Trump one would think that incitement to riot would bring more attention. Oh, it’s a BLM radicalized democrat this time? oops, shhh, don’t tell anyone.
BLM Riots on trial
The Imperial Palace is trying hard to ignore the federal proceedings going on against James Massey. He was arrested on Tuesday on a federal warrant alleging he incited a riot last August. His biggest mistake was doing it on Facebook.
The way feds put it, he was “by urging others online to join massive crowds of people who looted downtown businesses.” BLM followers don’t stop to think that using Facebook makes it into a federal case. “Using a facility of interstate commerce to incite a riot” can get you up to five years worth of hard time.
Massey was feeling a little moody and blue when he phoned in his initial appearance Tuesday afternoon. The judge brightened his day by ordering his release on bond with an ankle monitor.
They kept his charging documents locked away under seal until they went public yesterday at the hearing. The BLM associated activist didn’t think twice about calling all Black Lives Matter anarchists to converge on the city. The line that prosecutors really liked was the “lotting” starts at midnight, he misspelled. “BRING YA TOOLS SKI MASKS AND GLOVES.”
Like 13 cars deep
The whole nightmare started when a suicidal black man “opened fire on officers on the city’s South Side.” BLM didn’t like the fact that the cops shot back and were more accurate.
As related by Police Superintendent David Brown, “there was a social media post urging people to form a car caravan and converge on the business and shopping district.” That’s an understatement.
Someone started a video around the interweb “falsely claiming that Chicago police had fatally shot a teenager.” That’s about when “others responded to Massey’s messages, including one Facebook user who allegedly wrote that people ‘like 13 cars deep’ were coming downtown.”
Meanwhile, with BLM on the move, CPD sheepishly admits “17 officers caught ‘lounging’ in Representative Bobby Rush’s office while people were looting stores nearby last summer are being temporarily suspended.”
Thanks to Massey’s media posts, BLM barbarians “smashed windows of dozen of businesses and made off with clothing, cash machines and anything else they could carry.” Tools used in the robbery of a local marijuana dispensary were “taken from the trunk of Massey’s vehicle, which the complaint said was parked nearby.”
While a buddy was grabbing the grass, “Massey can be seen on surveillance video walking to a store with a tire iron in his hand while another person smashed the store window. Prosecutors also allege he entered a store with several other people, grabbed some coats and left, then took part in vandalizing a convenience store and a cellphone store.”
