An aid worker from a pro-Palestine U.S.-based charity was murdered by Hamas gunmen, but the organization refused to acknowledge who exactly murdered her.
HEAL Palestine Gaza Program Manager Islam Hijazy was reportedly driving in her car in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis when Hamas terrorists fired into the vehicle more than 90 times.
While Hamas officials claim that the murder was a case of mistaken identity — which is highly likely to be a lie, considering the source — other reports indicate that she was murdered for refusing to hand over aid funds to the terrorists.
HEAL Palestine, which describes itself as “a nonpolitical, nonprofit humanitarian organization” working in Gaza, mourned the loss of Hijazy in a post on X — where they curiously neglected to identify Hijazy’s killers, instead making a comment that suggested Israel was responsible, prompting outrage in the comments.
The post read: “It is with deep sadness that HEAL Palestine announces the killing of our Gaza Program Manager, Islam Hijazy, in Gaza today. She was the mother of two small children, and a humanitarian with the highest ethics and professionalism. Islam intentionally stayed in Gaza to help others. ‘My place is in Gaza serving my people,’ she said when she started her leadership role with HEAL. HEAL Palestine is more dedicated than ever to serving Gaza, in her honor. Ceasefire now.”

Commenters called out the pro-Palestine charity for refusing to acknowledge Hamas terrorism caused the death of their employee.
“She was brutally killed by Hamas terrorists, sitting in her car in Gaza. That’s a very important fact to omit when announcing the murder of the woman who worked for your organization. Unless, of course, it was intended to make people believe her murder was the fault of Israel,” wrote Newsweek contributor Joel M. Petlin.

“Why don’t you state that she was killed by Hamas firing multiple gunshots at her car?” one user asked.

“Cowards. Tell the world who killed her. Let the world know Hamas pumped 90 bullets into her. You disgrace any memorial for the work she did by glossing over who murdered her in favor of a weak ‘ceasefire now’ statement,” another user wrote.

“You know damn well it was Hamas who killed her, but you’re too cowardly to say it. Shame on you. You disgrace her memory with this omission,” another user responded.

“They will never condemn Hamas because 90% of Gaza is Hamas . And yes Hamas killed her,” another user argued.

Unsurprisingly, there has been no international outcry about the murder nor any coverage of it from the mainstream media — which was predictable considering the international community and the mainstream media are more interested in vilifying Israel for defending itself and trying to eliminate the terrorist group that murdered over 1,000 people on October 7, and not concerned at all with condemning Hamas terrorists or reporting anything that would make Palestine/Gaza look bad.
