Hamas Surrenders to Israel

Hamas agreed to a “ceasefire” that looks a whole lot more like total surrender on their part. They’re coughing up all the hostages they have left who survived. In exchange, Israel will stop bombing them and allow food supplies through. The Israelis astounded everyone by agreeing to hand back all their Palestinian prisoners. Even the really dangerous ones. They’re free to return home to Gaza and help clean up the rubble.

Hamas agrees to deal

Now that Israel has flattened Gaza flat, bombed out all the bunkers and destroyed the spiderweb of tunnels, Hamas surrendered. Because Joe Biden is still in charge a few more days, they’re calling it a “ceasefire.

It’s really total surrender and it’s only happening now because President Donald Trump is on the job. Even before he’s been sworn in.

Trump announced that the hostages better be released before he’s sworn in or “all hell would break loose.” Within hours, there was a firm deal to release all the hostages. Since Israel already neutralized Hamas militarily, the captives were the only reason to continue fighting.

Blinky Blinken can call it a ceasefire if he wants but the world can see that the terrorists have been defeated.

The official government vote in Israel isn’t scheduled until January 16 but Trump has already announced “that a deal has been agreed upon.” Hamas is amazed that they’re getting all their own back, who had been held prisoner in Israel.

In exchange for “thirty-three Israeli captives, including women, children and civilians over the age of 50,” the terrorists get back thousands.

2000 Palestinian prisoners

The only reason Israel is allowing “about 2000 Palestinian prisoners” to return to Gaza is so they don’t have to feed them. They’re including “250 prisoners serving life sentences.

If the Hamas soldiers expect to get any daily food rations from the aid trucks, they’re going to need to move a huge pile of rocks. Since they’re doing hard labor and staying out of trouble, let the United Nations feed them.

Details are still a little sketchy but the general idea is that a “temporary ceasefire” will “bring to an end the destruction visited upon Gaza.” Hamas is out of ammo anyway.

The deal will also, finally, allow displaced Palestinians to return to their homes – though after Israel’s deliberate destruction campaign, many homes no longer remain.

In the first six weeks, there will only be a “partial withdrawal of Israeli troops in Gaza.” Just in case Hamas gets sneaky. There will be “a surge of aid into the enclave.

After Israel gets their hostages back, they’ll pull back to right next to the border. Except for a few key strategic areas they need to keep free from Hamas infestation.
