In New York City, Palestinian nationals led a march into the predominantly Jewish Diamond District of Manhattan shouting and chanting antisemitic slogans. The march quickly devolved into attacks reminiscent of the Kristallnacht of 1938 Germany as terrorists hurled explosives at Jewish owned businesses while NYPD stood by and did nothing. Earlier the same day Israel and Hamas terrorists reached a cease-fire agreement, that the Palestinians and their leftist sympathizers clearly weren’t pleased with.
Footage captured by Yossi Gestetner shows a victim of the attack lying unconscious on the ground surrounded by broken glass near the smoking remnants of the explosive being downplayed in the mediaas ‘fireworks’ while the attacker flees yelling “F*** you Zionists!”
Independent journalist Tim Pool reported that the victim of the attack was a 55 year old woman.

Palestinian Violence Throughout Downtown Manhattan
As the march continued the situation worsened with skirmishes developing in Times Square between Palestinian and Israeli supporters. The NYPD bomb squad responded for a device the New York Post called a “60 second smoke generator.” The violent rioters threw water bottles and rocks at police and pushed over barriers blocking traffic in the heart of city for about two hours in the middle of the rush-hour.
According to TheBlaze,
“scuffles continued in the city, with footage reportedly taken afterward showing what the NYPD initially speculated might have been a “smoke bomb” being thrown at a crowd of people in the Diamond District.”
Fox News reports,
“One video showed a device exploding after being thrown at a crowd of people on a midtown Manhattan sidewalk. The New York Police Department told Fox News that somebody had thrown two commercial fireworks from a car, and one person suffered minor burns.
The NYPD’s Arson Investigation Squad was looking into the incident. “
As scuffles and brawls erupted throughout Manhattan along the march route, The New York Post reported that “Multiple arrests were made. Law enforcement sources said that at least 19 people were taken into custody.” The explosion of antisemitic violence in New York hasn’t been isolated to the events of May 20th either, in previous weeks a rash of vandalism has struck at four synagogues in the Bronx.
NBC4 New York reported that, “Over the course of several nights, four synagogues in the borough were damaged by an unidentified suspect hurling rocks. Police said Chabad of Riverdale and Riverdale Jewish Center were hit around 12:30 a.m. Friday.
The same synagogues were targeted again Saturday night, as well as the Conservative Synagogue Adath Israel and Young Israel of Riverdale. In each instance, windows and doors were shattered or significantly damaged by thrown rocks. The man is also seen kicking at least one of the windows.
Early Monday morning, the same suspect struck again at the Riverdale Jewish Center — despite police being present.”
It’s almost as if these antisemitic attacks in New York are being carried out with impunity, almost as if City leadership had somehow given the implication that such blatant targeting of Jews was acceptable, but how could that be? Mayor DiBlasio surely has never targeted the Jewish community specifically for harassment …. oh wait, both he and Gov. Cuomo did that… yup, they even blamed Orthodox Jews for spikes in COVID19 infection… wow. Even if history doesn’t always repeat itself, it sure rhymes.
