Get ready for it to get hot in Atlanta again.
After a police-involved shooting, protesters are calling for violence against police.
The “night of rage” is supposed to take place on Friday night.
Calling Out the Cops
Sadly, the call for violence against the police was first posted on Twitter.
The account that posted the information has now been suspended, but the tweet had been up for quite some time before the account was suspended.
The original post made by Scenes from the Atlanta Forest stated, “Consider this a call for reciprocal violence to be done to the police and their allies.
“On Friday, January 20th, wherever you are, you are invited to participate in a night of rage in order to honor the memory of our fallen comrade.”
The comrade to which they refer was a man that randomly opened fire on police when they were trying to clear a wooded area of an illegal encampment.

The name of the wounded officer and the deceased who fired upon him have not been released as of this writing.
Governor Kemp also tweeted about the incident…
Marty, the girls, and I are praying for this brave Trooper and public safety officers across all law enforcement agencies today.
As our thoughts remain with him and his family, our resolve also remains steadfast and strong to see criminals brought to justice. https://t.co/ZTS6zcNOCH

We will check reports on Friday and Saturday to see if police were able to avoid the threat or if this call to action came to fruition.
