Empire star and “alleged” hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett has taken the stand in his own defense, providing the jury with some scandalous claims about his accused attackers.

Here’s a quick recap of the Jussie Smollett saga courtesy of The Daily Wire:

“Brothers Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo were accused by Smollett of attacking him on a January 2019 night as part of an alleged hate crime. Smollett originally said the brothers targeted the celebrity because he was gay and black. Smollett has maintained he was attacked by the two African brothers walking home from the sandwich shop Subway, where they assaulted him and hung a noose around his neck chanting, ‘This is MAGA country.’

Following a police report, Chicago authorities suspected that Smollett staged the entire ordeal as part of a hate crime hoax. As a result, Smollett is now being charged with felony disorderly conduct and filing a false police report.”

Soon after the “attack” — but prior to the police announcing that Smollett had staged the incident — celebrities, the left, and the mainstream media rallied behind Jussie and used the ordeal to decry America as a racist, homophobic country.

Now, nearly three years later, Smollett is on trial for staging the fake hate crime. Unfortunately, the trial is not being televised. Luckily, reporters are allowed in the courtroom, and Fox News national correspondent Matt Finn is one of them.

Finn has been keeping the American people up to speed on the goings on inside the courtroom throughout the trial, especially when Jussie Smollett took the stand to testify in his own case.

Smollett began his discussion of the Osundairo brothers by testifying that the “first night he met Bola Osundairo they did weed and cocaine together then went to a club. Then went to a bath house together.”

After going to the bath house, Osundairo and Smollett did “more drugs” and “made out,” according to Smollett’s testimony.

The actor also testified that he paid Osundairo $200 for cocaine.

Smollett wasn’t content just smearing Abimbola as a drug addict. Next, he moved on to smearing his older brother, Olabinjo, as violently homophobic, and saying that he was “creeped out” by him.

“[Olabinjo] took the vibe out of the room,” Smollett said, noting that on one occasion he and Abimbola ditched Olabinjo to go back to the bathhouse and engage in sexual acts together.
