Joy Reid Goes On Racist Rant, Attacks ‘White, So-Called Christian Conservatives’

Joy Reid, host of MSNBC’s “Reid Out” has once again soiled the airwaves with a blatantly racist, incoherent ranting attack on those she refers to as “special citizens”. Statistically speaking, by and large, she means you by the way. She believes that these “special citizens”, these “white, so-called Christian conservatives” have an entitled mentality and have “gone from pretending to be the party of personal responsibility to unmasking themselves as the party of selfish people who cannot play well with others.” In 2020 for Israel Hayom Caroline B. Glick wrote about Democrats and the politics of projection, pointing to the DNC’s long and obvious embrace of anti-Semitism (AOC, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar et. al.), but this phenomenon applies to every topic across the ideological spectrum. We see this patently manifest in the commentary from Reid, who accuses conservatives of irresponsibility and selfishness while imposing the consequences of millions of Americans’ unhealthy decisions (COVID overwhelmingly impacts those with obesity and lifestyle-related comorbidities) and ignoring individual rights.

Joy Reid In Racist Rant Exposes More About Her And the Dem-Socialists

When you consider the principle of projection, Reid’s comments make much more sense. She also rage-dumps multiple rote-fallacies that have been touted by the left. (So we’ll offer some corrections here and point out the narratives.) Here are the highlights:

“And so, we are confronted as we start this new year with two very different concepts of citizenship that are struggling to exist in the same society. There’s one which says that particularly when faced with a crisis that as a member of a national community “I should do what I can to help other people” that we should help other people as a society. So, if people are poor or hungry, we should pass laws making food and resources. Again, if people are getting sick, I should put on a mask and get myself and my family vaccinated. So not only do we not get sick we don’t risk getting other people and other people’s granny’s sick. And we should take care of the planet since we all have to share it.”

In the first 10 seconds, Reid bypasses the fact that most support for the homeless and hungry comes from Christian charities and darts straight to vaccine and mask mandates and climate change. Ooof.

“And if the candidate I vote for in an election loses well I can object to that and even refuse to embrace the winner. First amendment baby! But I’m not gonna storm the capital and beat up police officers and leave people dead just because I didn’t get my way.”

Joy then jumps right to a facile oversimplification of the Jan. 6th riots and dismissively describes millions of Americans angry that the 2020 Election was completely corrupted and constitutionally invalid as “just because I didn’t get my way.” Pathetic.

“We’ll use governmental oversight if there were issues and at worst, we’ll just fight it out in the next election.”

This is how Joy and Dem-Socialists justify the wholesale Federalization of our elections and usurpation of State Sovereignty, but sure, you do you. This is how you get a single-party state. This also brushes aside that leftist organizations and super-donors [Soros, Jobs, Gates et.al.] bought and paid for the ‘fortification’ of the 2020 election as reported by Time.

Brace yourself for one of the most ignorant statements of all time, Reid slanders libertarianism, conservativism and individualism in one fell socialist swoop:

“And then there is this other version of citizenship which essentially says that the purpose of a society is not to advance a lot of us but really to advance me and people like me. And I have no obligation to the greater society because anyone other than me should not be my problem. It’s a really extreme form of great man libertarianism it’s Ayn Rand and mixed with fascism plus a Brazilian Moscow chaser.”

Next, she takes aim directly at capitalism and leaves the heavy implication that it is morally inferior, despite having raised more people from poverty than any system ever, she even derides charity (which is voluntary by definition) and philanthropy.

“So, people are poor or hungry that’s on them. I don’t want to pay a penny more in taxes to help. Hell, if I play my cards right, I might be the next Bezos and take pleasure trips to space. Now if I choose, I’ll give to charity because that will make me feel good and me look good, but you can’t make me help other people.

It’s a version of citizenship that depends not just on toddler-level selfishness, but on the existence of a group of special citizens who must always win and be appeased in order for things to be “fair”. And secondary citizens and non-citizens whose feelings just do not count. It’s a society designed to make me, the member of this special citizen group, and people like me feel good all the time.”

From here she more or less descends into a massive screed about the sins of slavery, Japanese internment camps, Chinese forced labor to build the railroads, the dispossession of the Native Americans and every other historical sin of the United States that she can come up with in order to build up a justification for her racist determination of collective guilt for the entirety of “white so-called Christian conservatives”. That’s how you make racism palatable, you pile up every sin of a groups ancestors and ensure that you have the emotional base of identitarian politics locked in, and then you assign the scapegoat of all of your problems like so:

“And who are these special citizens? Why they’re white so-called Christian conservatives who feel like this country was built by them for them and so everyone but then needs to suck it up and let them have their way or else. And their party the Republicans have gone from pretending to the party of personal responsibility to unmasking themselves as the party of selfish people who cannot play well with others. And even they even have their own cable networks plus something called getter which kind of sounds like porn.”

Goebbels would be proud. This is how you dehumanize your ideological foes and provide a target to your mass formation psychosis.
