Dismay at Justice System – Republicans Demand Accountability
It’s no secret that the recent investigation conducted by John Durham into allegations of misconduct against Donald Trump has ended in disappointment.
Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Senator Grassley (R-IA) have both spoken out about issues concerning the lack of effort put into this case in comparison to Robert Mueller’s investigation on alleged Russian collusion with Trump, which was given a much higher budget.
The Outcome of Durham’s Investigation
Durham’s investigations resulted in nothing substantial being revealed.
The $32 million spent on the Mueller investigation, compared to the mere $7.7 million spent on Durham’s, is one indication of how differently these two cases were treated – something which is highly disconcerting for Republicans who believe that justice should be impartial regardless of political affiliation.
The fact that this was all happening during Donald Trump’s presidency only makes matters worse as it seems clear that those involved had an agenda to discredit him from the very beginning.
The media did their part too, incessantly attacking Trump while failing to address any allegations raised against Biden or his family – playing right into their hands.
Time for Action
Despite having ample evidence and resources available, it looks like Republicans are going nowhere with their accusations anytime soon due to what they claim is a lack of action from relevant authorities such as John Durham himself, who has blocked many aspects of their investigations multiple times over.
It is time for them to stop making excuses and focus on presenting their evidence so that justice can prevail without bias or prejudice against any leader based solely upon party politics; Republican or Democrat alike.
