According to Truth in Accounting, we just surpassed $30 trillion in recognized debt (their real figure is over $141 trillion).
Yet, Joe Biden just wrote another check for Ukraine.
Biden is committing another $3 billion in aid for Ukraine, which is going to blow out a few more bulbs on the debt tree.
Where Does It Come From?
Ukraine has suddenly become a pig with lipstick.
Can we afford to have Ukraine fall completely into the hands of Russia?
At this point, it might be cheaper.
I do know one thing… this country cannot stand this backward path it has been on since the Bush administration if we expect to keep our heads above water for much longer.
By its very definition, recession is defined, in part, by excessive government spending.
I would say writing $3 billion checks while the rest of the world watches from the sidelines is excessive spending.
Biden wants to be the solo hero so bad, he is doing what Donald Trump would never have dreamed of doing, which is paying our share and everyone else’s to defend Ukraine.
While Ukraine is not a NATO country, our NATO allies benefit just as much, more so in many cases, with a free and independent Ukraine.
Yet, Joe Biden is telling everyone to put their wallets away.
No need for credit card roulette, because the stomping grounds of the globe will pick up this check.
$30 trillion, and growing quickly.
Recession, my friends, you better dig in, because it is coming sooner rather than later.
