The January 6 rioters that have been imprisoned, including the Proud Boys, have a new ally.
Black Lives Matter Inc. Executive Director Mark Fisher is now standing in unity with them.
According to Fisher, these individuals are all experiencing the same “legislative abuse” as black Americans have faced from the justice system.
Odd Ally
Fisher stated that the rioters from the Capitol “are going through the justice system, the court system, just like a lot of my brothers and sisters had to go through when I was coming up and as a youngster, and to this day.”
He continued, “Just because something is legal doesn’t make it right. Just because something is legal doesn’t make it moral.
“But it is a nation of laws that we live in, as opposed to a nation of people.
“So we have to deal with them.
“I believe solidarity and brotherhood is the way to combat governmental overreach and legislative abuse.
“I stand in solidarity with the January 6 political prisoners” and “there are hundreds of men that stand with me.”
Fisher even applauded the effort by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), telling her to “continue the good fight.”
Fisher also offered his help, saying that he is having meetings with leaders from these groups to see what direction they want him to take to help.
I have to say, I thought hell would freeze over before this ever happened.
