How many times has Joe Biden touted his “friendship” with Benjamin Netanyahu?
Like most Democrats, Biden likes to pretend that he is a friend to Israel.
Yet, since Netanyahu was put back into office, Biden has yet to invite him to the White House.
The Snub
This is not something that Netanyahu has taken lightly.
In fact, he has ordered his diplomats to break off relations with the United States save Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, who already has existing relationships in place.
He previously served as Israel’s ambassador to the U.S., so Bennie is leaving him alone.
There is also some tension there over a comment made by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
After the recent terror attack that claimed the live of two Israeli brothers, he suggest they wipe the map clean of the village were hit took place.
Joe and company did not like the comment, so they publicly rebuked the comments.
Opposition leader MK Yair Lapid took advantage of the tiff between Joe and Bennie to take a shot at the latter.
He stated, “Netanyahu has ordered his ministers not to meet the Americans until the U.S. President invites him to the White House. After the shocking humiliation of Smotrich’s visit, that’s not such a bad idea.”
