A Syrian immigrant decided to repeatedly punch a public school teacher in the face, breaking her jaw after she supposedly disrespected his “culture.”
While she was teaching at a public high school in Chestenberg, Switzerland, a teacher was given the responsibility of doing her own security checks.
In the past, a particular Syrian student had been caught bringing a knife to class, so the teacher decided to inspect him for weapons.
After the 62 year old teacher told the 14 year old immigrant student to empty his pockets, the kid proceeded to repeatedly punch the teacher in her face 5 or 6 times, which broke her jaw. As she attempted to flee, the student began to kick her.
The incident was investigated by the school, and the investigation revealed that the Syrian immigrant had become violent because he felt that the teacher’s treatment of him was offensive to his culture. This wasn’t the first time this student was a problem for the school, as he had previously raised issues with the “immodest” way that his female classmates dressed, claiming that it violates his religion.
School nurse André Schärer confirmed this, stating that the student would frequently order his female peers to dress more modestly, and often preached from the Quran.
“There are clearly certain signs that he doesn’t agree with the way we are cultivating our culture,” Schärer said.
The injured teacher was brought to the hospital, but was able to return to class the following week.
Many parents were concerned that the school was trying to cover up the brutal attack, as they were not informed of the incident until a week later.
The school district has insisted that there was no attempt to cover up the incident, and that they were only trying to comply with the authorities involved in the investigation.
The immigrant student was arrested and forced to spend two days in custody. A juvenile prosecutor is currently investigating the student.
According to several sources, the student comes from a large Syrian family that had come to Switzerland five years earlier and currently lives on welfare.
The school district has confirmed that the student will not be permitted to return to the school because there have been too many incidents involving his aggressive behavior.
News outlet TapHaps writes: “It is disturbing that anyone would seek refuge and aid in a foreign country then turn around and attack citizens because of their differing culture. However, when one culture finds the practices of another culture intolerable, that is exactly what should be expected.”
Some cultures just can’t assimilate, and don’t want to. Maybe Western governments should realize that and stop importing so many people who will only cause friction in society.
