Illegal Alien Shoots American, Shouts ‘Allahu Akbar’

An illegal alien has been arrested after shooting an Orthodox Jewish man and shooting at first responders while yelling “Allahu Akbar.”

Thanks to the Biden-Harris administration’s wide open border, a 39-year-old Jewish man walking to synagogue was shot and injured by a 22-year-old illegal alien on the 2600 block of North Washtenaw Avenue in Chicago — an area populated with many Orthodox Jewish families.

The suspect reportedly approached the Jewish man from behind, shooting at him several times and hitting him in the shoulder, according to the Chicago Police Department.

Chicago Police Chief Kevin Bruno told the Jerusalem Post that “officers responded to the scene, and as they were on the scene, at about 9:55[am], the offender reemerged from an alley and fired shots at the officers and at the responding paramedics.”

“Over the next two-and-a-half minutes, the offender emerged from various locations and exchanged shots with the officers,” the police chief added.

According to reporting from The Post Millennial senior editor Andy Ngo, “When first responders arrived, the gunman shouted, ‘Allahu akbar’ and fired upon them too. The gunman was shot by returning fire from police and has been taken to hospital in critical condition.”

Police later identified the shooter as Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi. He has been charged with 14 felonies, including six counts of first-degree attempted murder.

Footage has also been released of Abdallahi being transported into an ambulance at the scene after being shot.

It has also been confirmed by New York Post journalist Karol Markowicz that Abdallahi was an illegal alien from northwest Africa who illegally entered the U.S. through the southern border roughly a year and a half ago.

The victim is reportedly in stable condition, was released by the hospital, and is now recovering at home, according to Debra Silverstein, who is the alderman in Chicago’s 50th Ward.

“The shooting happened on Shabbat following the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah. I spoke with Superintendent Larry Snelling, who assured me that there is no more known threat and has committed the full support of the Chicago Police Department to ensuring the safety of our community,” Silverstein added.
