HUGE Supreme Court Win for the GOP

Democrats in North Carolina are pitching a fit today, and that is a good thing.

Lawsuits that were pending both fell in favor of conservatives.

The North Carolina State Supreme Court ruled to uphold voter ID laws as well as shooting down a gerrymandering case.

Sorry, Dems

Chief Justice Paul Newby delivered the bad news for Democrats.

He wrote, “In its decision today, the Court returns to its tradition of honoring the constitutional roles assigned to each branch.

“This case is not about partisan politics, but rather about realigning the proper roles of the judicial and legislative branches.”

House Speaker Tim Moore was elated, stating, “The decisions handed down today by the NC Supreme Court have ensured that our constitution and the will of the people of North Carolina are honored.”

Eric Holder, the former Obama official that has been bringing these suits in red states only, was not so happy.

He stated that the court’s decision was “a function of political personnel and partisan opportunism” from Republicans.

He added, “History will not be kind to this court’s majority, which will now forever be stained for irreparably harming the legitimacy and reputation of North Carolina’s highest tribunal.”

Pretty funny how he rips this problem in red states yet he completely ignores what is happening in blue states.
