Twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was roasted on X after she whined about the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy regarding the recent horrific plane crash at Reagan Washington National Airport.
The altercation began on the afternoon of February 5 when Duffy made a post announcing that he had spoken to the DOGE team — the majority of whom have experience in the tech field — about helping “upgrade our aviation system.”
Of course, Clinton was too cowardly to respond directly to Duffy, and instead shared a screenshot of his post and responded to that.
The former secretary of state sniped at Duffy, attacking DOGE because members of the team are all in their early 20s, have little to no government experience, and some of them have not finished their formal education.
“They have no relevant experience. Most of them aren’t old enough to rent a car. And you’re going to let them mess with airline safety that’s already deteriorated on your watch?” Clinton posted.

Duffy immediately fired back, pointing out that the infrastructure problems long predate his tenure as the transportation secretary — as he was only confirmed to the position one week earlier. He also pointed out that it may be a good thing that DOGE employees are young and do not have government experience, because the bureaucrats are the ones who have presided over the deterioration of U.S. infrastructure.
“Madam Secretary, with all due respect, ‘experienced’ Washington bureaucrats are the reason our nation’s infrastructure is crumbling. You need to sit this one out,” Duffy wrote.
Clinton once again screenshotted Duffy’s post and attempted to fire back — claiming that “MAGA” and the Trump administration are at fault despite the fact that Trump has only been in office for less than three weeks. Her post was filled with lies, which Duffy quickly rebutted.
“US airlines had gone 16 years without fatal crashes. Then MAGA fired the FAA chief, gutted the Aviation Security Advisory Committee, and threatened air traffic controllers with layoffs. Now there have been two fatal crashes. Hope your unvetted 22-year-olds fix things fast,” she said.

Duffy responded by pointing out that Clinton is probably just mad because DOGE has been rooting out waste, fraud, and corruption within the bureaucracy — which he alleged that she has benefited from. He also pointed out that Trump did not fire the FAA chief, nor did he threaten to lay off air traffic controllers.
“I know you’re lashing out because DOGE is uncovering your family’s obscene grifting via USAID, but I won’t let you lie and distort facts,” Duffy wrote. “The FAA administrator announced he resigned over a month before Trump took office, and the air traffic controllers were always exempt from Trump’s civil service buyouts.”
“The previous administration shamelessly used USDOT as a slush fund for the Green New Scam, throwing away money and resources on wasteful environmental and social justice projects rather than updating our nation’s antiquated air traffic control systems and other critical infrastructure,” he added.
“I’m returning this department to its mission of safety by using innovative technology in transportation and infrastructure. Your team had its chance and failed,” Duffy concluded. “We’re moving on without you because the American people want us to make America’s transportation system great again. And yes, we’re bringing the 22-year-olds with us.”

Clinton did not respond to Duffy’s last post as of the evening of February 6.
