The moment the GOP confirmed it had the House, we found out all kinds of Hunter Biden investigations were going to be opened.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is sending House members a message to the contrary.
He wants them to investigate Joe Biden, not Hunter, but is he right?

I agree with Cruz’s premise…
Ultimately, this all goes back to Joe Biden.
However, sometimes to take down the big dog, you need to go after the puppy, but Cruz does not see it that way.
He stated, “The focus needs to be on Joe Biden, this is not about Hunter Biden, any more than if you’re going after the mafia and you catch some low-level enforcer, or you’re going after a drug cartel and you catch some mule who swallowed balloons full of heroin.”
But don’t those investigations usually start by taking down a low-level supplier who flips?
Cruz continued, “It’s not about the poor schlub who got caught. It’s about the boss.
“It’s about the big guy. It’s about the Godfather, Joe Biden is the Godfather. He is the one who ultimately is profiting on this corruption.
“He is the one who is abusing official authority to further the criminal activity of his family members. And that’s why this is an issue of public corruption.”
By taking down Hunter, all the connections to Joe Biden get exposed.
While Cruz is a great legal mind, I think he got this one wrong.
To take down Joe, we must expose Hunter.
