Pollster Criticizes Kamala Campaign Staffer For Claiming Double Standard

Harris Sunken Ship Turns Into Dumpster Fire

Prominent pollster Nate Silver has slammed the Harris campaign after one of the staffers claimed that failed Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris was the victim of a “double standard” when she refused to agree to any interviews at the start of her presidential campaign.

Earlier this week, Harris campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon falsely claimed that the vice president had been the victim of a “double standard” because people dared to criticize Harris for refusing to do any interviews at the start of her campaign, and refusing to do any interviews with people who weren’t Democrat propagandists throughout her campaign.

Silver responded to those comments in a post on X, where the pollster pointed to Harris’ initial refusal to do interviews for more than two months after she became the Democrat candidate for president. President Joe Biden dropped out on July 21 and endorsed Harris as his replacement, but her first solo interview did not happen until September 25. She then proceeded to only do interviews with people who pushed the Democrat agenda and propped her up, with only one exception: Fox News host Bret Baier, who was barely able to push back against her “word salads.”

“Harris didn’t do a solo network interview until late September,” Silver wrote. “Which who cares, fine, the networks don’t matter so much. Then she did a bunch toward the end of the race. But she was legit not doing a lot of traditional media. That was the campaign’s choice, not some conspiracy.”

“The Harris campaign folks are the most non-agentic people I’ve encountered in a position of comparable decision-making authority,” the pollster added in a follow-up post. “They don’t even see themselves as victims so much as Non-Player Characters with no will of their own.”

Silver’s post came in response to comments made by top Harris campaign aides during an appearance on Pod Save America — where they pretended to do a post-mortem analyzing the failures of the campaign, but the only failure they seemed to find is that the American people failed to support Harris.

During the podcast, Dillon claimed that Harris had made more “traditional media” appearances than Trump — but Trump “got no s—t for that.”

She also tried to lie to the American people about Harris’ failure to do interviews, claiming that the “narrative” was responsible for the public believing that she wasn’t “doing anyone” or that “we were afraid to have interviews” — calling it “completely bulls—t.”
