There was a time when Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) was the darling of the Republican Party.
The former Navy SEAL who lost an eye in battle was on every media outlet, even writing a book after entering office to cash in.
Now he may have more enemies than friends among conservatives.
We Wanted Change
The American people were pretty clear about wanting changes in leadership after the 2022 debacle.
The party did not listen, however, and the old guard were given the lead again, including McCarthy winning the House nomination.
Well, a group of less than two dozen Republicans joined together to grant the American people their wish by holding McCarthy over a barrel to make changes or risk losing their vote.
As I write this, they are now getting ready to cast a 14th vote because McCarthy does not have enough support, which has led to Crenshaw calling his fellow Republicans “terrorists” and the “enemy.”
Tucker Carlson unloaded, stating, “Dan Crenshaw went all the way, as neocons always do, he proceeded to go to CNN to call his political opponents enemies of the state.”
He added, “No matter how you feel, you have to acknowledge, if you’re being honest, that people who don’t like Kevin McCarthy have a reason for that.
“They have real concerns, real issues, but you’ll notice that Dan Crenshaw didn’t address any of those, none of them, instead he impugned their motives, their character, their intelligence, their moral standards.”
He concluded, “What you just saw as Dan Crenshaw just spoke, what you just saw is the snarling face of the donor class, revealed for all to see finally.
“The deep loathing of disobedient voters that may be their most passionate secret emotion.
“They’re not bothering to hide that emotion anymore. Now you know how they really feel.”
Crenshaw responded with even more anger…

Am I wrong, or does Crenshaw now sound like a Democrat when they don’t get their way?
