There is nothing better than watching a Biden adviser getting smashed on TV these days.
They continue to push bogus narratives every time they open their mouth, but Fox News’ John Roberts was having none of it.
As senior Biden adviser Amos Hochstein spun away, Roberts’ face told us everything we needed to know.
Really?
Roberts was focused on the administration patting itself on the back over falling gasoline prices, even though they are still about $2 more per gallon than when Biden took office.
Roberts stated, “The war in Ukraine is still raging and prices are coming down. What about this idea that this was Putin’s price hike?
“Many people say that’s a fallacy because the war is still raging and the prices are coming down.”
Hochstein disagreed, saying it was Putin’s invasion that started prices going up, which is complete and utter nonsense.
Roberts interjected, “But they were going up before that.”
Then came the epic face, as Hochstein stated, “No, no, they actually weren’t.
“That’s just factually not true.”
Uhm, actually they were, and long before we started talking about Putin going into Ukraine.
Here is the full interview…
Roberts missed a slam dunk on this, however.
When Hochstein tried to say the prices were going up months before because of Putin, I wonder why Roberts did not challenge him on Biden’s previous statement about nobody seeing the invasion coming.
Point being, if gas prices were being impacted months before the invasion of Ukraine because of the threat, why was Biden caught so unprepared?
This administration has now painted itself into a corner and they have no idea how to get out.
