FEMA’s Nuclear Warning

Nuclear

In the midst of some of the highest internal and external tensions since the Cold War, the Federal Emergency Management Agency under the Biden-Harris regime have retooled and are preparing to release the third edition of their 241-page “Planning Guidance for Response to a Nuclear Detonation”. Some of the “critical considerations” presented in the document are quite startling and will come as quite a shock to many big-government, leftists who believe that the Federal Government has their best interests at heart and ‘if the GOP would just get out of the way’ will provide anything that they need to survive. This document compiled by the Democrat-Socialist regime paints a much different, far more disturbing picture of how our government will respond in the event of a nuclear attack on America.

The guidance document bases many of its conclusions and area of effect on calculations from the 1953 “Upshot-Knothole” Nuclear weapons test. This test involved a 43 kiloton warhead detonated 300 ft from the ground. Upshot-Knothole provided much of the real-world data we have about nuclear fallout. Instead of dissipating as scientists expected, the radioactive fallout spread for thousands of miles all the way from Nevada to New York, with consequences felt for decades after as documented in the tragic stories of the ‘Downwinders‘ who were unknowingly exposed to it.

FEMA’s Warning: For Days After Nuclear Blast: No Help Is Coming

The document sets out pretty much from the ‘get-go’ that in the event of a nuclear detonation on American soil:

“No significant federal response will be at the scene for 24 hours and the full extent of federal assets will not be available for several days. Emergency response is principally a local function. Federal assistance will be mobilized as rapidly as possible; however, for purposes of this document, no significant federal response beyond coordination or modeling is assumed for 24-72 hours.”

Essentially, for the first one to three days, when the vast majority of deaths through injury will occur and radiation effects will be strongest and when minutes and hours of exposure make the difference between life and death, the cities and states, SHOULD NOT EXPECT FEDERAL HELP.

FEMA is hosting a webinar on January 6th regarding this release to help prepare people for a potential nuclear detonation. And the significance of the timing while likely coincidental has not been lost on many.

According to Weatherboy.com,

“The guide, which can be found in its entirety here, will be reviewed in a half-hour long Zoom webinar FEMA is hosting at 2pm ET Thursday afternoon. The webinar is designed for a primary audience that includes emergency planners such as fire response, EMTs, HAZMAT response personnel, mass care providers, those involved with public works and/or utilities, public health, and transportation, and “other organizations that represent disciplines that conduct emergency response activities.” Participants will be encouraged to provide feedback to call-out any changes or updates that the guide should feature when it’s officially rolled out. Information about attending the webinar can be found on FEMA’s website here.
