‘Polling Nostradamus’ Melts Down After Realizing He Was Wrong

Epic Liberal Melt Down After Realizing…

A political historian who has been deemed the “Nostradamus” of elections melted down on a live stream after his ridiculous predictions turned out to be wrong.

Allan Lichtman has correctly predicted the outcome of nine out of 10 elections since 1984 — but this time he failed, likely because of his serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

During the live stream, the 77-year-old political historian and his son, Sam, were shocked to watch his predictions fall apart — with Lichtman repeatedly muttering “I don’t get it” as President Donald Trump’s historic win became apparent.

“This is the first moment of the night where I’ve lost hope a little bit,” Sam Lichtman told viewers as Pennsylvania was called for Trump.

This prompted Lichtman to begin his meltdown, rubbing his eyes in frustration as he declared: “Good thing I have nothing to do tomorrow. And I’m not doing any interviews.”

As he was concluding the live stream and witnessing Trump pulling ahead in all seven swing states, Lichtman finally admitted that there was “nothing positive” for Harris.

“Oh, the democracy’s gone,” he whined. “Once democracy’s gone, it’s almost impossible to recover. The way to recover is by the dictators losing wars.”

His son was not as whiny about the loss, instead stating that he hopes Trump serves his final term and “we never have to deal with him again.”

“I’ve said it a hundred times,” Lichtman replied. “Democracy is precious, but like all precious things, it can be destroyed. And typically destroyed from within. And throughout the 21st century, democracy has been in decline everywhere around the world, and America has now fallen in step. But never give up hope.”

“It’s unfathomable,” he concluded.

The so-called “Nostradamus” of elections’ failed predictions were based on what he calls the “13 Keys To The White House,” which are explained on his website as “statements that favor the reelection of the incumbent party. When five or fewer statements are false, the incumbent party wins. When six or more are false, the challenging party wins.”

The so-called “Nostradamus” of elections’ “keys” include:

  • Key 1 (Party Mandate): Following the midterm elections, the incumbent party holds more seats in the House of Representatives than it did following the previous midterm elections.
  • Key 2 (Contest): There is no serious contest for the incumbent party’s nomination.
  • Key 3 (Incumbency): The incumbent party candidate is the sitting president.
  • Key 4 (Third party): There is no significant third party or independent campaign.
  • Key 5 (Short-term economy): The economy is not in recession during the election campaign.
  • Key 6 (Long-term economy): Real per capita economic growth during the term equals or exceeds mean growth during the previous two terms.
  • Key 7 (Policy change): The incumbent administration affects major changes in national policy.
  • Key 8 (Social unrest): There is no sustained social unrest during the term.
  • Key 9 (Scandal): The incumbent administration is untainted by major scandal.
  • Key 10 (Foreign/military failure): The incumbent administration suffers no major failure in foreign or military affairs.
  • Key 11 (Foreign/military success): The incumbent administration achieves a major success in foreign or military affairs.
  • Key 12 (Incumbent charisma): The incumbent party candidate is charismatic or a national hero.
  • Key 13 (Challenger charisma): The challenging party candidate is not charismatic or a national hero.

Lichtman claimed that Harris would win the 2024 election because nine of those keys supposedly lined up in her favor — but several of those were objectively false. He claimed that (key 2) there was no serious challenge for the incumbent party’s nomination. While the Democrats refused to allow a true primary to take place, Biden was challenged by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who many believe would have won a fair primary. On that subject, he claimed that (key 4) there were no significant third-party or independent campaigns — again, false because Kennedy ran as an independent, though this could technically be true since Kennedy did drop out, though his endorsement of Trump swayed untold numbers of voters.

He was technically correct about key 5 or key 6, though regardless of the data, the American people felt like the country was headed to a recession and many were facing serious financial hardships.

Lichtman also was clearly wrong about key 7, as Harris did not represent a change from the current administration’s policies, since she is a member of the administration. He also lied about key 8, claiming that there was “no sustained social unrest” during the Biden-Harris administration, despite the ongoing anti-Israel protests and riots at universities across the country. The so-called “Nostradamus” of elections also hilariously asserted that the Biden-Harris administration was scandal-free (key 9) and did not suffer any major foreign/military failures (key 10), both of which clearly describe the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. Lichtman also claimed that the Biden-Harris administration continuing to funnel American taxpayer dollars to unwinnable wars like the one in Ukraine represents a military success (key 11).

Finally, Litchman claimed that the challenger, Donald Trump, was “not charismatic or a national hero” — a clearly laughable assertion considering his innate charisma and the historic moment where he survived an assassination attempt.
