Three children were initially reported stabbed to death but what really happened turned out to be a lot more horrible than that. The lifeless infants were discovered in the Reseda neighborhood of liberal Los Angeles. Police officers in the Democrat stronghold later confirmed that the victims were ages 3, 2 and 6 months old.
Three murdered children
A manhunt raged across a wide ranging area after LAPD discovered the lifeless bodies of three children, the oldest age 3. One officer leaked that all were under the age of 5 but led the press to believe they had been stabbed.
After initial reports went out, officials put out an update to note the cause of death was “uncertain.” Meanwhile they had a person of interest who was leading them on a merry chase.
From the Reseda apartment where the bodies of the children were found, the suspect led police on a manhunt. Rather, a “womanhunt.” Liliana Carrillo was acting suspiciously like she had a connection to the horrible deaths.
As the LAPD announced on their official Twitter account, “We are receiving reports that she just committed a carjacking in the Bakersfield area and might be driving in a stolen Silver Toyota pickup license J258T0.”
The accused killer fled north up and all the way through Kern County and into Tulare County. Law enforcement managed to get her stopped and under arrest before she managed to accomplish her big goal. “I tried to drive off the top off a cliff and die,” she would later tell a local reporter in an exclusive jailhouse interview.
They were her children. She killed them in order to protect them from even worse horror at the hands of her ex-husband, she proclaims. He says she’s nuts. And that he told that to officials but nobody listened.

A bitter custody dispute
On Thursday afternoon, Eytan Wallace of 17 News sat down with Liliana Carrillo for a jaw dropping interview. The “prime suspect” dissolved all the doubt in a bathtub full of water, admitting that she drowned the children.
She didn’t want to, she claims, but she had to do it to save them from her ex-husband. He’s allegedly “involved in human trafficking.” Erik Denton refutes that and says she’s totally insane. They were, he explains, “involved in a bitter custody dispute.”
On Thursday, Carillo didn’t bat an eye. “I drowned them. I did it as softly, I don’t know how to explain it. I hugged them. I kissed them. I was apologizing the whole time. I loved my kids.” She certainly picked a strange way to show it. “I didn’t want them to be further abused. I loved my kids,” she insists. “I wish this didn’t have to be the case, but I promised to protect them.”
Yes, she says, she does wish her children were alive. “Do I wish I didn’t have to do that, yes? But I prefer them not being tortured and abused on a regular basis for the rest of their life.” She’s fully prepared to spend the rest of her own life behind bars.
Last month, Los Angeles County had a chance to prevent the tragedy, but the liberal Democrat stronghold blew it. Back then, Denton asked the court to require Carrillo “undergo a mental health evaluation.” Obviously, they didn’t. Denton also “tried to get help for Carrillo from child protective authorities,” but “they didn’t immediately get involved.”
Carillo confirms she has problems and that she “sought help from social services and saw a therapist several times, but it was unsuccessful. She hasn’t yet been charged for murdering her children but she’s being held up in Kern County on the carjacking charges.
