Emails released by transparency group Judicial Watch indicate that the White House has covered up multiple attacks against staff and guests.
Judicial Watch, a group that files Freedom of Information Act lawsuits to investigate misconduct by government officials, has just released new emails that reveal several attacks on White House personnel by Joe Biden‘s dog, Major.
According to the emails, Major bit Secret Service members eight days in a row in March, along with at least one White House visitor.
One email states that “at the current rate an Agent or Officer has been bitten every day this week (3/1-3/8) causing damage to attire or bruising/punctures to the skin.”
The documents also indicate that agents were told to protect their “hands/fingers” by placing their hands “in their pockets.”
Despite all of the incidents, only one has been publicly acknowledged by the White House.
On August 27th, a reporter asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki an important question about these new developments.
“If we can’t get honest information about minor stories, why should we have faith in the administration’s account for larger issues like Afghanistan?” the reporter asked.
Of course, like nearly every other occasion when Psaki was asked a real question, she brushed it off.
“He has been receiving additional training, as well as spending some time in Delaware where the environment is more familiar to him and he is more comfortable,” the press secretary claimed. “I don’t have anymore specifics, but I think that speaks to where Major is located to be fully transparent in your ongoing interest in the dog.”

The troublesome dog was brought back to Delaware in March for what the White House described as a previously planned trip, but the emails actually show that the decision to move Major was made because of the attacks.
Tim Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, spoke about the incident, saying that it is concerning to see that the White House is okay with covering up injuries to personnel by Joe Biden’s pet.
“We’re sure Major is a good dog but these records show he was involved in many more biting incidents than the Biden White House has publicly acknowledged,” Fitton said. “It is disturbing to see a White House cover-up of numerous injuries to Secret Service and White House personnel by the Bidens’ family pet.”
