The Department of Justice (DOJ) has a fiery response to the radical left who continue to commit crimes: “You will spend decades behind bars.”
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi issued the strong statement in response to the arrest of 19-year-old college student Owen McIntire, who is accused of setting two Cybertrucks on fire at a Tesla Center in Kansas City using two homemade Molotov cocktails.
On March 17, an officer saw smoke coming from the area near the Tesla Showroom and rushed to the scene, where he found smoke billowing from a Cybertruck. Although he was able to put out the fire outside of the Cybertruck, he was unable to stop the vehicle itself from burning. The fire quickly spread to another vehicle. Reports indicate that both vehicles were worth more than $100,000.
McIntire, a college student in Boston, was identified by the FBI as the arsonist via surveillance footage and cell phone data. Police say that he carried out the attack while he was home on spring break from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. McIntire has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of an unregistered destructive device and one count of malicious damage by fire of any property used in interstate commerce.

Responding to McIntire’s arrest, Bondi noted that this was a warning for anyone who planned to attack Tesla vehicles or dealerships in the future, stating: “Let me be extremely clear to anyone who still wants to firebomb a Tesla property: you will not evade us. You will be arrested. You will be prosecuted. You will spend decades behind bars. It is not worth it.”
Today, we arrested yet another Tesla attacker — and we will not negotiate.
To those who might join this wave of attacks: it is not worth it. We will find you and put you in prison.https://t.co/f4cot8rKec

This warning comes as leftist domestic terrorists have continued to target Tesla dealerships, Tesla charging stations, and individual Tesla vehicles with vandalism and arson in response to Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s work with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
“This is the second arrest this week of a suspect charged with targeting Tesla, more proof that the FBI will not stand for these destructive acts,” FBI Director Kash Patel explained. “These actions are dangerous, they are illegal, and we are going to arrest those responsible.”
