There is a little something brewing right now that I thought needed to be mentioned.
To be clear, I know Donald Trump is way ahead in polling right now on all fronts.
But, Ron DeSantis just has a speaking engagement as the headline speaker at a fundraiser that is getting some attention.
Shattering Records
There is a reason that Donald Trump is hitting Ron DeSantis even though he has not entered the race yet.
There are already two candidates in the race and Trump has barely touched them.
But I doubt either of them are doing fundraisers that are shattering records and bringing in more money than when Trump was in office.
That is what happened in New Hampshire at the Amos Tuck Dinner in Manchester.
Chris Ager, the chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Party, was ecstatic, stating, “Largest fundraiser in the history of the NHGOP, raising more than a quarter of a million dollars.
“Ticket sales were halted earlier this week after we exceeded planned capacity.
“From the beginning, we had planned for 500.
“We squeezed into two more tables. … It’s been at least 10 years since we’ve had a dinner event that big.”
Trump is winning, but there are a lot of undecided voters that I think are waiting to see if DeSantis is going to announce or not.
I think we will get a far better idea of where this race stands once DeSantis announces, if he announces.
After seeing this report, I would advise Trump to keep hitting and keep hitting hard.
