Fetterman Issues Strong Warning For Democrats

Democrat Leader Breaks Rank, Sides With Conservatives

According to Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), Democrats have not learned their lesson from the 2024 elections and may have permanently destroyed their chances with white men because of their extremism.

Fetterman — who ran for office as a progressive but has become increasingly moderate throughout his first term — made the remarks during an interview with reporter Tara Palmeri in response to a question about why the Democrat Party is currently being viewed as “toxic” by many Americans, including Democrats.

In response, he made the point that Democrats are obsessed with shaming and smearing anyone who dares to disagree with them on any issue.

“I think their primary currency was shaming and scolding and talking down to people and telling them, ‘Hey, I know better than you,’ or ‘you’re dopes,’ or ‘you’re a bro,’ or ‘you’re ignorant,’ or, you know, ‘How can you be this dumb? I can’t imagine it,’” Fetterman stated.

He went on to call out the Democrats for referring to Republicans as “fascists” and shaming anyone who voted for Republicans.

“When you’re in a state like Pennsylvania, like I know and I love people that voted for Trump, and they’re not fascists,” Fetterman said. “They don’t support insurrection and those things.”

The Democrat senator also pointed out how “extreme” and fringe the Democrats have become, to the point where they have clearly lost the argument on numerous issues but continue to double down. He noted that the left has lost the ability to actually understand what average Americans think or understand that voters want to elect someone who is specifically looking out for their interests.

“For me, I describe the 2024 election was not about obscure kinds of policies,” Fetterman said. “It’s a gut check kind of vote, and [people asked] themselves, who is going to protect or project my personal view of the American way of life? And who’s the better match for what I believe is the American way of life?”

Fetterman then issued a warning to the Democrat Party — arguing that their decision to elect “Defund The Police” advocate Ken Martin, who also supports abolishing ICE, as the head of the Democrat National Committee (DNC) shows that they have not learned their lesson from the 2024 election.

“I’m concerned that we really haven’t paid attention on what happened,” he said. “And have we looked up at the scoreboard and been like, oh, by the way, we’ve lost?”

Palmeri then asked Fetterman how the Democrat Party could win back white male voters, to which he argued that it might not be possible right now.

“I don’t know and truthfully, I’m not sure if that’s possible, to be honest. I think that’s been seriously eroding for a while,” Fetterman said, adding that many voters have told him that the Democrat Party appears “toxic” to them, especially because they continue to demonize men.

He also pointed out that the Democrats have continued to send a message that Americans must “conform to our very strict kinds of definition of what we think is appropriate.”

“Once we’ve kind of turned their back on that demographic, it’s going to be difficult to rebuild and replace that with those voters,” Fetterman added, noting that issues like mass illegal immigration have only served to damage the Democrats’ chances with white men.
