President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for border czar, Tom Homan, has at least one fan in the Democrat Party — New York City Councilman Robert Holden (D).
Soon after winning his landslide election victory, Trump announced that he would be appointing Homan as his border czar. Since then, Homan has made numerous headlines for his strong stances on illegal immigration and border security. This has made him a target of the radical left, with many Democrats openly expressing concern and fear over his plans for mass deportation and even the arrest of sanctuary city officials and others who aid in harboring illegal aliens.
Border Czar Tom Homan’s top 3 priorities upon taking office:
1. Deport the dangerous criminal aliens.
2. Secure the border.
3. Save the missing children.

While most Democrats have expressed hatred for Homan, one Democrat in New York City has stated that he welcomes Homan’s plans to tackle the border crisis that has led to an illegal immigration crisis in the deep-blue city as well.
During a Monday appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Holden stated that he loves Homan and supports his plans to hold sanctuary jurisdictions accountable for “shielding criminals and terrorists” — arguing that “We need to actually get rid of and deport these illegal aliens who are committing crime.”
The New York City councilman said: “I love Tom Homan, the new Border Czar, who came, last week on Fox and said, we’re going to hold these mayors and governors accountable, certainly, he said don’t cross that line. Because they are violating, with these sanctuary city laws, by shielding — they are violating, it’s a felony to shield these criminals, these illegal immigrants. So, we need to start really doing that. We need to actually get rid of and deport these illegal aliens who are committing crime.”
Holden went on to point out that “the governors — Democratic governors — and the mayors of these sanctuary cities are shielding criminals and terrorists, Brian.”
He also advocated for Trump charging these politicians with felonies — stating that “you know what, if you’re not going — if you’re going to violate the laws, the federal laws, statutes that we have on the books, it’s a felony to shield and harbor illegal aliens who have committed crimes. … So, the President, actually, could say to the governor and to the mayor, cooperate with us, or we’re going to charge you with felonies.”
