Democrat Donors Pull Funding, Call Party ‘F—king Terrible’

Multiple Democrat donors have revealed that they were pausing their funding to the Democrat Party because of how “f—king terrible,” weak, and ineffective the party has become since President Donald Trump won the 2024 election.

Democrat donors expressed frustration immediately following Vice President Kamala Harris’ loss, but apparently that frustration has only grown in the months since the election.

Speaking to The Hill, Democrat donors complained about the state of their party and declared that they would be keeping their money for the time being.

“I’ll be blunt here: The Democratic Party is f—king terrible. Plain and simple,” a major Democrat donor told the outlet. “In fact, it doesn’t get much worse.”

The unidentified donor went on to declare that the Democrats’ 2024 loss was far worse than their 2016 loss, as the party is now “so weak and so diminished.”

Another Democrat donor told The Hill that they are equally as frustrated with the Democrat Party.

“They want us to spend money, and for what? For no message, no organization, no forward thinking,” the anonymous donor stated. “The thing that’s clear to a lot of us is that the party never really learned its lesson in 2016. They worked off the same playbook and the same ineffective strategies and to what end?”

Meanwhile, Democrat strategists confirmed to The Hill that donors are frustrated. Steve Schale, a Democrat strategist who also ran a pro-Biden super PAC during the election, explained to the outlet that he has seen real burnout in the Democrat donor class, as they no longer have confidence in the party after its devastating loss in the 2024 elections.

“Frankly, a lot of donors I’ve talked to don’t think their voice mattered in 2024, so I’ve been doing more listening than talking,” Schale said.

“There is genuine frustration,” he continued, adding: “I’ve talked to a number of donors who just don’t have a lot of confidence after 2024 and want to see how people are thinking about issues differently.”

Jamal Simmons, another Democrat strategist, claimed that these donors will eventually come back to the party before the 2026 midterm elections — asserting that they will come to the conclusion that President Donald Trump is hostile to their values. Of course, he doesn’t seem to understand that, for this to happen, the Democrats must actually change course and start focusing on issues and policies that will align with the concerns of the American people. Anti-Trump sentiment is not enough.

“For a lot of Democrats, it’s like we had a heartbreak and one way to deal with heartbreak is to curl up on your couch and eat ice cream,” Simmons claimed. “But one way that will help them get over the heartbreak is how infuriating the new guy is.”
