While leftist city and state governments across the country and multiple private enterprises such as the NFL are clamping down hard, mandating vaccination, and shoving the American people toward another lockdown (unless your Chicago’s Lori Lightfoot and its Lollapalooza time) UFC President Dana White has taken the stance that the world’s premier MMA promotion company won’t be going along with it and he “doesn’t give a sh*t what any of these people do.”
Many voices on social media are expressing concerns that this will limit the venues available for UFC events, given that many like Madison Square Garden in New York are requiring vaccination for admittance to all “indoor entertainment events” consistent with the most recent mandates from the city under Mayor Bill DeBlasio.
MMAJunkie reported that the first event in question is UFC 268 on Nov. 6th where fighter Michael Chandler has questioned whether or not his expected bout against Justin Gaethje can move forward. Chandler expressed the same concern as millions of Americans,
“It’s not that I’m anti-vax. It’s not that I don’t believe in the vaccine, necessarily. I’m just not going to get the vaccine until it’s 100 percent FDA approved. We’ve had hundreds of clinical trials, just like we had the vaccines that my son has had – measles and chicken pox and all of the vaccines that have been around for 100 years that have been proven. We shall see. I don’t know what’s going to happen. More than anything, the chances of the UFC being able to sell out Madison Square Garden with only people that are vaccinated really cuts down their ability to sell out Madison Square Garden. So I don’t really know.
I think it calls into question if Madison Square Garden will actually happen, to be honest with you guys. The UFC is brilliant and geniuses at putting things together and putting their fights together. But as I said, I’m not anti-vaccine. I think vaccines are effective. I think it’s everybody’s choice whether they want to take the vaccine. I won’t be vaccinated by Nov. 6, so I won’t be able to perform or entertain at Madison Square Garden. So we shall see.”
Dana Stepped Up To Protect His Fighters
“I would never tell another human being what to do with their body,” White told TSN according to MMANews.com.
“If you want to get vaccinated, that’s up to you. That’s your choice. You’re never gonna hear me say I’m gonna force people to get vaccinated. Never gonna happen.”
“I think a lot of people are doing that. They’re telling you in New York you can’t go into a restaurant or a gym unless you’re vaccinated and can prove it and things like that,” White said.
“Some people are getting fired if they don’t get vaccinated. Yeah, that’s not gonna happen here. You wanna get vaccinated? Get vaccinated. If you don’t, that’s your decision, your body.”
UFC President Doesn’t Sound Worried, Shuts Critics Down HARD.
As the mainstream media circles and an ear-piercing screech starts to emit from the woke scolds on the left and the rapidly authoritarian crowd who are advocating for 100% mandatory vaccinations, Dana White seems confident and even genial as he spoke to Pat McAfee on August 3rd.
Dana told McAfee point-blank: “I don’t give a shit what any of these people do.”
He continued confidently, “I got my shit dialed in, I know what I’m gonna do. A year and a half ago you got me ok? I didn’t see that coming. I never thought that Vegas could be shut down, I never thought that was even a possibility in my lifetime but now I do and now I’m ready for anything.”

Dana told SiriusXM’s The Pat McAfee Show, “This is part of what’s going to happen in the future, but I’m not putting any restrictions on any of my people and forcing them to do anything. I’ve never forced anybody to do anything, let alone take a shot you might not be comfortable with. It’s not me. It’s not what I would ever do,”
Following the initial announcement, on August 4th’s Full Send Podcast with Kyle Forgeard and Bob Menery, White addressed the outcry from the leftist media directly and with characteristic brutality.
“I don’t give a f*ck about media. The media are full of sh*t,” White said. “When you look at these media people, who the f*ck are they? What they have ever done?… What have these people ever built or done?”
“Nothing. F*cking zero. Less than zero. Their opinion means jack sh*t to me,” White added. “If I listen to the media, from day one, wouldn’t be where we are today. You gotta block all that noise man… you will get to a point where you literally don’t give a f*ck.”
