Police sabotage of the Canadian truckers’ Freedom Convoy has been confirmed by the police themselves. Three excavator vehicles that were parked on private land with permission from the owner were found to be sabotaged.
Sabotage
Truckers who have gathered to protest the COVID mandates and restrictions in Coutts, Alberta were shocked to discover that three of their excavator vehicles that had been parked on private land — with permission from the landowner — had been sabotaged.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) had allegedly requested that the owners move the vehicles so that they were no longer visible from the highway.
According to reporting from Rebel News — a Canadian news outlet that has been on the ground for most of the protest — the owners listened to the RCMP’s request, and moved their vehicles. Soon after moving them, they discovered the damage.
The sabotage reportedly included the cutting of the electrical and control cables in the vehicles. Police also allegedly sprayed an expandable foam inside the vehicles, which caused additional damage.
Media representatives for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have confirmed that they were behind the damage.
“BREAKING: Rebel News has confirmed that RCMP sabotaged three excavators to prevent their useage at the blockade in Coutts,” tweeted Syd Fizzard, a video journalist for Rebel News.
