Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu formally announced on October 7 that “we are at war, and we will win it.” Hamas Palestinians had enough talk and decided to start a full on intifada with Israel. Jerusalem plans to end it quickly. “Our enemy will pay a price the type of which it has never known.”
One war to mark another
Hamas, and their buddies Hezbollah, decided that the best way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of 1973’s Yom Kippur war was to start another one. So far, “at least 100 Israelis are dead” and the national emergency service confirms “at least 740 people were injured.”
They’re calling it “one of the most serious confrontations in years.” The uprising has been brewing for a while. There’s been “weeks of rising tensions along the volatile border.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced to the public “we are at war, and we will win it.” He responded to the assault and capture of military personnel with strikes on the Gaza Strip which “killed at least 230 people” and “injured about 1,700.”
“We will turn all the places in this evil city where Hamas is hiding into ruins.
What happened today will not be seen in Israel and I will make sure it does not happen again.
The IDF will immediately use its full force to destroy Hamas' capabilities.

Those figures were released by the Palestinian Health Ministry. In Israel, they’re still counting up the number of “Israeli civilians, soldiers and commanders” who were captured by Hamas. They’re expected to be used as bargaining chips to trade for “militants imprisoned in Israel.”
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh insists that “the assault that had begun in Gaza would spread to the West Bank and Jerusalem.” He’s confidant his troops can get the job done. “This was the morning of defeat and humiliation upon our enemy, its soldiers and its settlers. What happened reveals the greatness of our preparation.”
“What happened today reveals the weakness of the enemy.” There’s two sides to every war and he didn’t mention that Israel took out two high-rise office towers smack in the middle of a whole bunch of Palestinian citizens because that’s where the goat humpers like to hide their military infrastructure.
Bodies everywhere
In the town of Sderot, “in southern Israel near Gaza,” Reuters reports “bodies of Israeli civilians lay strewn across a highway, surrounded by broken glass. A woman and a man were sprawled out dead across the front seats of a car. A military vehicle drove past the bodies of another woman and a man in a pool of blood behind another car.” War is hell.
Local resident Shlomi informed the outlet, “I went out, I saw loads of bodies of terrorists, civilians, cars shot up. A sea of bodies, inside Sderot along the road, other places, loads of bodies.”
Well prepared but still terrified Israelis “barricaded into safe rooms.” From there, they “recounted their plight by phone on live TV.” This revolution apparently will be televised. “They just came in again, please send help,” a woman identified as Dorin pleads.
My wife and I are in the bomb shelter right now as Hamas is firing rockets into Israel targeting civilians. Israel is at war.

“My husband is holding the door closed. They are firing rounds of bullets.” When the war broke out, Esther Borochov “fled a dance rave party attacked by the gunmen.”
She only survived by “playing dead in a car after the driver trying to help her escape was shot point blank.” She adds, “I couldn’t move my legs. Soldiers came and took us away to the bushes.” On the Gaza side, “black smoke and orange flames billowed into the evening sky from a high rise tower hit by an Israeli retaliatory strike. Crowds of mourners carried the bodies of freshly killed militants through the streets, wrapped in green Hamas flags.”
To keep the war moving along, “Hamas said it fired a volley of 150 rockets towards Tel Aviv on Saturday evening in retaliation for an Israeli air strike that took down a high rise building with more than 100 apartments.” Stay tuned for more senseless violence updates, brought to you by the global military industrial complex.
