Rep. McCaul (R-TX) finally got his hands on the Afghanistan dissent cable.
If there was ever a doubt that Biden screwed up the Afghanistan withdrawal, this will end it.
Biden had plenty of warnings, and he ignored them all.
Damning Evidence
Joe Biden has often declared himself the smartest man in the room.
In fact, when Joe Biden was recently asked why people should vote for him, that was the reason he cited.
Rather than listen to those that were in the midst of it all, Biden went about his haphazard plan that resulted in the deaths of 13 soldiers and left more than 1,000 American citizens behind enemy lines.
McCaul stated, “The dissenters were absolutely right about everything they said, and it was a warning to the administration about what was going to happen and what they needed to do.”
He continued, “Unfortunately, the administration didn’t heed all their warnings and we got what we got.”
“I am thankful to Secretary Blinken for allowing myself and Ranking Member Meeks to view the dissent channel cable – an unprecedented occurrence. However, every member on our committee should be granted this same access.
“Although I cannot discuss the classified information in the cable, I can say the dissenters were right – and the administration should have listened.
“I am going to speak with Ranking Member Meeks and my Republican and Democrat colleagues on the committee to discuss our next course of action if the State Department continues to block all committee members from seeing this cable as the subpoena requested.”
It is still baffling to me that the media continues to ignore this entire story when it should have ridden Biden right out of the White House.
