Antony Blinken thought he was safe after caving in at the last second. He beat contempt of Congress charges by handing over the dissent cable Congress had been hounding him for. Everyone knows he totally botched it with his Saigon-like bug out from Afghanistan but the cable says specifically how he was warned not to think about doing what he did. Now, they want to know about his involvement in conspiring with the CIA to craft a letter which was used to sway the 2020 election in Joe Biden’s favor. The latest request came with a warning that the subpoena will be next if he doesn’t comply. He already knows what comes after that.

Blinken approached the spies

None of those 51 lying spies would have come forward to sign a letter used to rig the 2020 election if Antony Blinken hadn’t put them up to it. He may not have askedhey guys can you write me a letter?” But he didn’t need to spell it out. Spooks never say things straight out anyway and aren’t used to having those sorts of conversations.

He simply mentioned his dilemma and friends of his he never met in the CIA were nice enough to solve his problem for him. They were happy to help, since it meant preventing Trump from remaining in office. He was working real hard to uncover all their dirty secrets.

After fresh testimony came out, Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan teamed up with Intelligence Chairman Mike Tuner to ask Blinken for more information. They gathered additional evidence that Blinky “was the inspiration for a letter by 51 former spy-agency leaders that claimed The Post’s reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop could be Russian disinformation.

The public already knew that former CIA acting director Michael Morell credited Blinky “with inspiring the letter, though Morell says Blinken, then a Biden campaign aide, didn’t specifically ask him to write it.” Other signers gave them more to work with.

When they sat Marc Polymeropoulos down for one of those deposition-like interrogations sworn under oath, they learned “that Mr. Morell ‘did mention to me that someone in the kind of Biden world had asked about doing this.” He went on to elaborate. “He did not tell me who it was or any other kinds of details of it.” While that’s not much, there’s more.

Similarly, James Clapper, former Director of National Intelligence, testified to the Committees that former CIA Director John Brennan told him ‘that Tony Blinken had reached out to Michael [Morell] about putting together a public statement.

A fully informed decision

The lawmakers warned Blinken that he’s accused of really serious wrongdoing. Election interference is a major crime. “From this testimony, it is clear that your outreach to Mr. Morell resulted in the drafting and issuance of the public statement, which had the goal of giving the Biden campaign a ‘talking point to push back on [President] Trump’ during the final presidential campaign debate. These actions deprived the American people of the opportunity to make a fully informed decision during the 2020 presidential election.

He did his part to steal the election from Trump and hand it to Biden. Meanwhile, if the FBI and DOJ had been doing their jobs all along, Joe Biden would have been in prison by then. They’re too weaponized against conservative nationalists for that.

Even though the were convinced that Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell was totally authentic and so was all the incriminating evidence it contained, they had no qualms about warning it had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian disinformation operation.

They very carefully did not say that it WAS Russian disinformation because they knew it would be a lie. If everyone read that in to it, that wasn’t their fault, they reasoned. They rushed the letter out so it could be published in print for Joe Biden to wave around on the debate stage. They knew for sure he was going to need it. The entire operation engineered by Antony Blinken went off beautifully.

As soon as Donald Trump mentioned the laptop and it’s incriminating emails, Joe Biden used the spies who lied letter to “falsely smear The Post’s reporting” as “garbage” and a “Russian plant.” Blinken knew it was engineered by professionals and he better start rounding up any documents he has before the subpoena arrives. Blinky swears up and down that it wasn’t his idea and he “didn’t ask for it, didn’t solicit it.

The committee chairs had an answer to that. Blinky’s “response letter set forth a strawman argument that you ‘did not solicit the letter in question,‘ referring to the public statement about Hunter Biden’s laptop. We, however, did not allege in our letter that you solicited the statement. As we explained, the Committees’ oversight revealed how your outreach to Mr. Morell ‘set in motion the events that led to the issuance of the public statement.
