It is that time of year when everyone wants to raise their profile, so they all start doing the weekend media circuit to offer their insight into the election.
William Barr, Donald Trump’s former Attorney General, just chimed on whether he will support Trump or not if he gets the nomination.
One thing is for sure, he will not be voting for Trump in the primary.
Jump Off the Bridge
My best guess is that Barr will more than likely fall in line behind Haley or DeSantis in the primary, but it will definitely not be Trump.
He stated, “I have made clear that I strongly oppose Trump for the nomination and will not endorse Trump.”
That will surely not upset any Trump supporters, as I think we would all agree that Barr was a disaster.
When asked if he would support Trump in a general election over Biden if Trump gets the nod, he hesitated.
Barr replied, “I’ll jump off that bridge when I get to it.”
NEW: Former Attorney General Bill Barr says he will ‘jump off’ a bridge if Donald Trump wins 2024 GOP primaries.
“I have made clear that I strongly oppose Trump for the nomination and will not endorse Trump,” Barr said.

My guess is that he would just sit out the election.
NBC did a poll of 44 former Trump cabinet members… only four said they would support Trump in the general election.
Most of them refused to go on the record, undoubtedly to spare themselves Trump’s venom if they publicly said they would not support him.
Hint: If they did not respond, they are not likely to be supporting Trump.
