In just a few days, Title 42 had been scheduled to end.
Were it not for a stay issued by a federal judge, the border would essentially be wide open at that point.
Yet, the Biden White House had no announced plan to deal with the expected surge.
Big Numbers
We are already on a record-setting pace at the border.
For Fiscal Year 2023, we are averaging about 7,000 illegal immigrant encounters per day.
Roughly 25 percent of those encounters are deported due to Title 42.
If Title 42 ends, that number is expected to double, at least.
Yet, there is no plan in place by this administration to deal with that massive surge.

Joe Biden clearly has no desire to fix the situation, so states have to deal with it or be overrun.
