Even though the media remains obsessed with Trump, there is a pretty good Biden family controversy blowing up right now.
Fox News got its hands on some Hunter Biden emails that make it pretty clear that Joe knew what was going on regarding Hunter’s business.
It also shows that there is no doubt Hunter Biden was doing business while attending official government functions and traveling with his father on Air Force Two.
Gotcha
This latest tidbit centers around a reception with the Chinese that Hunter Biden had attended.
One of Hunter’s business partners wanted to contact Tung Chee-hwa, a billionaire and first chief executive of Hong Kong who was serving as the vice-chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in 2014.
Jimmy Bulger, the nephew of former Boston mobster Whitey Bulger and a Biden business partner, wanted Hunter to introduce Tung to BHR CEO Jonathan Li and Andy Lu.
Bulger wrote, “It is my understanding that during the trip to Beijing that you made with your father, President Xi hosted a welcome dinner.
“[A]t that dinner, you were seated right next to Mr Tung, therefore J and Andy believe it would be very helpful if you could please send a brief email to Mr Tung laying out that you are a partner and Board Member of BHR and that You would be grateful to Mr Tung if he could meet your local partners to discuss the Fund.
“Please let me know if you can introduce these two to Mr Tung by email it is very important to our BHR intiative [sic] at this moment.”
Hunter responded, “Happy to do this, but I have no email address for Mr. Tung and he very well may have sat next to me but I don’t recall the two gentlemen’s names to my left and right.
“Regardless, I would suggest the team draft an email in Mandarin and English for my approval ASAP.”
Requests have been made to the White House for the seating chart of the event, but Fox News has not received a reply, and I would guess that an FOIA request will have to be made before that happens.
The walls are closing in on Joe… it is just a matter of time.
