I have never seen an administration pick so many unqualified people for positions.
Donald Trump had his issues, but they were largely because he was taking advice from the Swamp’s Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).
Most of the people Trump picked were qualified, they were just not on the same page as Trump.
Biden, on the other hand, is picking fast food managers to run a fine dining restaurant, and it is just not working.
Fraud
The latest example is Julie Su for Secretary of Labor.
On the surface, Su has the experience, having served in the same role for the state of California.
However, when you look at her record, she was a complete disaster.
While Su was in office, there was $32 billion in fraud in the state’s unemployment system.
Biden skipped right over that little tidbit when he introduced Su.
He stated, “Over several decades, Julie has led the largest state labor department in the nation, cracked down on wage theft, fought to protect trafficked workers, increased the minimum wage, created good-paying, high-quality jobs, and established and enforced workplace safety standards.”
Numerous California lawmakers pushed back, writing a joint letter that stated, “While the state stood by twiddling its thumbs and $32 billion in fraudulent payments were being sent to individuals who did not qualify for the assistance, those who were eligible and truly needed the help did not receive payments in time for months on end.”
Su’s excuse is that numerous states had fraud, so we just need to look the other way which Senator Burr (R-N.C.) obliterated.
Burr responded to her claim during her nomination hearings, stating, “It is true that all states struggled, but California’s struggles swamp everyone.
“And none of their (other states’) secretaries of labor are here today seeking a promotion.”
So, the wait continues for Biden to put one person forward capable of actually doing the job for which they are nominated.
