Would you be surprised if I told you that Joe Biden was breaking the law?
According to the Government Accountability Office, this administration has three employees currently working that are illegal.
They are all in violation of the 1998 Federal Vacancies Reform Act.
Breaking the Law
Joe Biden currently has three staffers that have exceeded the limit permitted for being an “acting” official.
They are: Deidre Harrison, the acting controller at the Office of Management and Budget; Allison Randall, the acting director of the Department of Justice’s Office of Violence Against Women; and Charlotte A. Dye, the acting general counsel at the Federal Labor Relations Authority.
The law states that they cannot be in the “acting” role for more than 210 days or 300 days past inauguration.
All three of them have been in office since November 2021, with no exceptions in place to excuse their presence.
Not only can the administration be fined, but any rulings put in place by these individuals may be considered invalid.
There were actually several other violations, but they have since been addressed.
The most notable was Tae D. Johnson, as acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
This administration continues to simply ignore the rules and do as it wishes without repercussion.
