ATTN: Your Tax Dollars are Being Used for THIS Now

A press release from the federal government has revealed yet another way they are wasting the American people’s tax dollars: providing aid in an attempt to cover up their absolute failure in Afghanistan.

The White House, and Joe Biden specifically, has yet to take complete responsibility for their actions in Afghanistan. Ignoring the plan and agreement put in place by Donald Trump and his administration, Biden and military leadership botched the U.S.’s withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, leading to a terrorist attack that killed 13 U.S. service members and more than 60 Afghans. The Biden administration was also responsible for leaving thousands of Americans stranded after they decided to withdraw troops before evacuating civilians.

Instead of taking responsibility for their failures, the federal government is once again deciding to just throw money at the problem. The press release announces that the American people’s tax dollars are being spent on foreign aid that will undoubtedly be misused, likely by the Taliban.

“Today, the United States announced nearly $64 million in additional humanitarian assistance for the people of Afghanistan,” the press release begins. “This funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the U.S. Department of State will flow through independent organizations, such as UN agencies and NGOs, and provide life-saving support directly to Afghans facing the compounding effects of insecurity, conflict, recurring natural disasters, and the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“For assistance to be effective, we will need an environment conducive to the principled delivery of aid, including the ability for both female and male aid workers to operate freely,” the press release stated. “This contribution underscores the United States’ commitment to the Afghan people.”

What commitment to the Afghan people? The U.S. government abandoned the country in the middle of the night with no warning, and didn’t carry out any sort of tactical drone strikes on the advancing Taliban terrorists taking over the country piece by piece. The government pulled out our troops before evacuating Afghans who aided the U.S. throughout the 20 year war, who are definitely at the top of the Taliban’s kill list. The U.S. government even provided the Taliban with a kill list of those Afghan allies. How can the government now say that they have a commitment to the Afghan people?

“Even before recent insecurity pushed people from their homes and increased needs, USAID supported a large humanitarian response for more than 18 million people in Afghanistan,” the press release continued. “This additional humanitarian assistance will provide vulnerable Afghans with critically needed food, health care, nutrition, medical supplies, protection, hygiene supplies, and other urgently needed relief.”

“USAID has also activated a Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) – based outside of Afghanistan – to lead the U.S. Government’s humanitarian response,” the press release concluded. “This team, which is based outside of Afghanistan, is working with partners to provide aid and adapt programs in response to the new environment.”

Response

There was immediate backlash on Twitter after the press release was shared, with many raising concerns over the motivations behind the so-called humanitarian aid being funded with our tax dollars.

“I guess leaving the Taliban billions in US military equipment wasn’t enough. How many pallets of cash does Biden plan on sending to the Taliban before all is said & done?” asked Sean Parnell, Republican Senate candidate in Pennsylvania.

“Lol this is just going to go to the Taliban,” said political commentator Luke Rudkowski.

“This is Humiliation Aid,” wrote Jack Posobiec, senior editor for Human Events and former Navy intel officer.

Many others pointed out the likely idea that this isn’t actually “humanitarian aid,” it’s ransom for the Americans and allies trapped behind enemy lines.

“R-A-N-S-O-M,” tweeted journalist and radio talk show host Larry O’Connor.

Average Americans also responded to the post, with many of them pointing out that there are significant problems in the U.S. that the money would be better suited for.

“Flint Michigan is still very much struggling and in the US of A,” wrote one such Twitter user.
