The Justice Department is getting sued… the irony of it all!
Attorney General Merrick Garland has found himself under assault for failing to comply for a request to release a memo.
So, Judicial Watch has filed a claim against the DOJ with all other options having been exhausted.
Sue Them!
Judicial Watch is partnering with CatholicVote over the release of an anti-Catholic memo that was allegedly sent out by the DOJ.
CatholicVote President Brian Burch stated, “Our weaponized and corrupt government agencies have demonstrated a pattern of contempt for justice and the rule of law by prioritizing partisan ideology and agendas over the protection of the American people – in particular those with whom they disagree politically.
“We are demanding transparency from our government and are determined to uncover just how high up the anti-Catholic bigotry goes.”
CatholicVote stated, “In February, a leaked memo from the FBI Richmond Field Office exposed the Bureau for targeting Catholics.
“The memo, which relied on ideologically driven criteria from the discredited and far-left Southern Poverty Law Center, was denounced by CatholicVote as another shocking example of the dangerous weaponization of government agencies against political opponents.”
The DOJ, thus far, has failed to comply with all requests on this matter.
The suit hits the Biden administration after numerous conservative and Catholic groups have alleged bias on the part of the DOJ against conservatives and Christian groups.
It is rather ironic that Biden always touts himself as a devout Catholic, yet that is who he is using his administration to attack now.
