A new study has shown that ABC News, which was chosen to host what may be the only presidential debate this election cycle, is the most left-biased out of the three major networks.

The study, which was published by the Media Research Center (MRC), analyzed coverage of former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris on the three major networks: ABC, CBS, and NBC. The analysis specifically looked at the evening newscasts on each channel — “CBS Evening News,” “NBC Nightly News,” and ABC’s “World News Tonight.”

According to the study, “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir — who is one of the moderators selected for the Trump-Harris debate — gave Harris a shocking 100% positive coverage.

The Daily Wire explained the methods for the study, writing, “The way the spin score is calculated is simple: all assessments of polls or analyses of where the candidates stand are omitted, as are comments made by campaign sources. Of what’s left — comments made by anchors and reporters, voters, or other supposedly non-partisan sources — the MRC determines a ratio of positive-to-negative statements about each candidate.”

Since July 21, the day that President Joe Biden ended his reelection bid and endorsed Harris, the vice president received 25 positive statements and zero negative statements on “World News Tonight.”

Meanwhile, the news show gave Trump just five positive comments and 66 negative comments — which equals out to a 7% positive coverage score.

MRC Director of Media Analysis Rich Noyes issued a statement about the results, writing: “While our spin score similarly excludes all Democratic soundbites about the Republican nominee, ABC’s reporters and anchors either jumped in to criticize Trump themselves, or broadcast negative comments from non-partisan sources to impart a heavily negative spin to the former President’s coverage.”

Although ABC’s 100% positive coverage of Harris was the most egregious among the big three networks, the other two weren’t much better — as CBS gave Harris a staggering 94% positive coverage and NBC gave her 71% positive coverage. Their coverage of Trump was obviously biased as well, with the Republican nominee receiving 77% negative coverage on CBS and 86% negative coverage on NBC.

While Harris has made it obvious that she is terrified to appear in an interview or press conference with hosts that would even slightly challenge her, Trump has made it known that he is not afraid of talking to the Democrat propagandists at these networks.

In a recent press conference, Trump acknowledged ABC’s far-left bias and hostility.

“I’m going into very hostile territory shortly on a debate with ABC… And ABC, I think, is the worst of everybody. I think they’re the worst, they’re the nastiest. They’re as bad as you can be. They’re worse than NBC, which is saying a lot,” he said, adding that the only reason he agreed to let ABC host the debate was because it was the only place Harris would agree to appear.
